I was wondering about how dreams work with friendships.

My friend had a vivid dream about me and a guy with whom I had a romantic connection. On the night that I was giving up on the relationship my friend dreamt about me and this guy.

She dreamt that he had returned from mexico (where he is on study abroad right now) and had realised that he cared/loved me but was worried it was too late. My friend described it as a kind of fairytale hunt, where my guy acted like a prince, looking for me, and meeting friends along the way and asking them where I was.

He finds me in a beautiful garden, where the sun is shining and flowers bloom. He tells me how he feels, I cry and hug him.

Then there is a wedding where we thank my friend for helping us find each other again.

so, when my friend woke up the next morning she wondered why she had dreamed this dream. My friend is spiritual and has a lot faith.

It is like a fairy tale, and what girl doesn't dream of that!

I suppose there are at least two possibilities. The dream could be some sort of premonition concerning you and the guy. If not, then the dream is probably a reflection of your friend's own desire/fantasy for this kind of fairy tale romance, and her dream consciousness was influenced by, and used your situation, for acting this out.

I get the feeling that its like a wish fufilment dream of some sort. My friend I think wishes to see this ending because she knows that will make me happy :-)
