i am in my old school, and when i reach the peg where my coat should hang, there is a dead crow

then everything goes completely white, like a thick fog.

when it clears i am walking down a country lane. some guy is there selling jewelry. i am talking with someone, about god . she is a very conservative type, and i turn to her and say "well, what about sex then?". As i say this i look to the end of the lane, and there is a crusifix there with my jumper hanging on it. in real life it is not my jumper, but has the same pattern as a pair of socks i own. i wake up.

N:B I'm not a christian, but have a catholic heritage.

Crows have a classic symbolism associated with death, but in the dream world death itself is symbolic of an ending of some kind, or a change. The first scene suggests that a lesson or segment of your life experience has ended.

The last scene suggests that the change in your path has to do with spirituality. There is something valuable (jewelry) along this path (country lane) as you learn more about differentiation of energies, in particular the material (sex) and the inner divine (God), or how to divide the lower from the higher (cross).

Do you feel like it is time to make the necessary sacrifices to become more in tune with your own spiritual/divine energies?

yes, i guess it is time to make some sacrifices, particularly to sacrifice my plans for the future, in order to enjoy the present As It Is.
