I just answered that very thing in NosiS's topic. I'll cut and paste it ... here's what I wrote ...

... symbolically, this type of dream often indicates that you are in connection with an "alien"/foreign/unknown aspect of yourself, which in turn often indicates that said aspect, or the material/energy it represents, is preparing to emerge from the unconscious. The UFO itself can indicate that a process of change is in place, one which will tend to reduce the old order of things in your life, and produce a potential for new.
