This is the first time that I've posted in this forum before (usually I post in Astrology, but not lately).

Ever since I've ran into someone I used to be interested in, I have had dreams inclusing him and his significant other and it really is unsettling. When I saw him after quite some time, feelings that I thought I had gotten over, resurfaced. And I've spent a lot of time trying to remove any sense of feeling for this person. But since seeing this person I have had 5-6 dreams involving him.

In the most recent dream, we were in a store, working together (for a short time, we actually worked together in real life),surrounded by whiteness (floors, walls.)People were lifting carts and unloading things.

Later in the same dream, I am in a darkned parking lot at night, I had a lot of random items that I was tying to load into a car (which was mine) and I kept feeling like someone was supposed to help-I was looking around at the scattered cars, but there was no one around.

Inside the store, I was talking to a female friend of mine (who I also worked with at the same time), and as we went around the store, I felt as if he was watching me-observing me with this knowing glint in his eyes. Being reserved in life and in the dream, I simply ignored it.
Well, he stepped away from us to do something, when we saw that he left a blue tinted id card on a table. We rushed over to see it-really excited, and I turned it over.

It had his picture and this date in black letters: June 5, 1968. The person in real life is not as old as the year indicates; he is exactly 10 years younger. In the dream the 6 was slightly smudged. For some reason, in my dream, I thought to myself "I was right, he is a Cancer." But, this birthdate is in the sign of Gemini.

I am wondering if my brain simply scrambled numbers and those are the number that showed up, or if I have recieved a message about this person. When I woke from the dream, I immediately felt the need to write down the date.

I really feel as if I am trying to be told something about this situation, but I am not sure how to interpret the dream...does anyone have any thoughts on this?

I ask this with a very important idea in mind...

Have you ever known someone to place thier own or anothers date of birth on the back of a picture? [only if it's a picture used to announce a birth] NO, people put the date the picture was taken on the back, in order to recall those memories... You see where I'm going with this?

I believe you were supposed to recall those memories as well..
I'll take it a step further to say I'll bet this date is before your own birthday as well!

You have ties to this guy...

Yes, these are messages, memories but of a previous life.

You may find it interesting to note that both Venus and Jupiter are in the sign of Cancer on the date you supplied.

Gosh, I hope I did'nt just freak you out?
This is my very strong impression of this particular situation. I could almost guarantee that this thought has crossed your mind already as well...

I am not freaked out at all. In fact, I've been searching for an answer as to why this person has affected me so much.

In the picture, he actually looked the same as he does now. He had on the same shirt in the picture as he did in the dream and its one I've seen him in before.

You are right about the date being before my own birthday, I was born in 1984.

Are you suggesting that I have known this person before, in some other way during the time of the date in the dream? Like a karmic link?

In karmic links, isn't it a kind of familiarity between to the two people involved? Aren't they inexplicably attracted or attatched to one another?. Or can a karmic link be one-sided?

What do you think is the significance of the cancer statement??

No, your dream is suggesting this.. I am merely saying it outright, LOL!

Yes, a familiarity is present, as for attracted or attatched, this depends on the previous relations I suppose.

One person may "pick up" on it better, or even have memories and dreams while the other may not be in tune with it, sure. But the link is, between the two... whether recognized or not.

If I were to take an educated guess; I'd say he really WAS a Cancer. As in, past tense ; in his previous carnation. You recognize this clearly and admire it for what it is.

Do you mind if I ask you if you have experienced something like this before? I have no clue about karmic relationships or anything really. If something is karmic that means that someone or something has to be "paid" to the other person right?

Here is the story about this person. When I met him, I was somewhat attracted to him, but I've always been very reserved (although at the time, I definately did not appear that way-Gemini ASC, Cap Sun) I remember when I reaized that I was immediately attracted to him, I was also resistant to it as well and tried to brush it off.

After a while I couldn't tell though if he was interested or whether he wanted to pat me on the head. He seemed amused by me mostly, but there were times when he would actually become annoyed with me sometimes and I'd be taken back by his reaction to me.

I think he mistook my shyness for disinteretedness and immediately hooked up with someone else at the job which I really took very hard for some reason. I had an uncommon dislike for this person as well-considering the circmstances. It sounds weird but I felt like he was "taken" although I had no "ties" to him whatsoever. Now that freaked me out!

Then, I left that job b/c I started grad school. Did not see him for a long time, but by chance I saw him recently, and all those feelings immediately returned (which truly surprised me) and instinctively, I was keeping my distance which he sensed. And again, he became annoyed. I couldn't figure out why he'd be so happy to see me after such long time. It seemed as if time stood still for a minute when he was walking towards me.

And when I found out he was still with the same person, I became unusually upset and began having dreams about the situation-including ones with his girlfriend

Does this sound like the kind of "ties" that you mentioned before? I am sorry for the length of this story but I would appreciate any input about all of this. My friends think I have had a really bad "crush" with some "strange" dreams...
