Had a dream there was a huge snake in my garden. It was as long as the house and when I finally saw its head through the window I went outside and cut it off. But the head turned into a harmless lizard with 4 legs. The rest of the snake seemed to be a shell, like it had moulted. I wondered what I'd been so afraid of.

Afterwards I went into my grandparents backyard (they've been dead for years) to catch my horse- except it wasn't my real life horse, this one was grey (white)- but the halter was broken and nobody else could catch him without one. I tried to put the broken halter on but it didn't work so I led him along next to me with just my hand on his mane. I was happy things were working and wasn't surprised although other people around me were.

The snake was yuk, lol!

Hello OzMeg

This dream seems to be about masculine energies. Snakes are sometimes a phallic symbol, especially so when that snake is in your garden. A lizard can represent instinctual processes, such as sexual energies. It can also possibly symbolize a person who "changes colours", or who is hard to definitively pin down. A lizard can also represent renewal/regeneration.

A horse can also be symbolic of a man, or masculine energy. This horse, similar to some of the lizard symbology, is not easy to catch, but you eventually bring it under control.

I get the impression that the snake/lizard represents one particular individual, and the horse represents another. Didn't you have a dream about someone which was related to horses?

Does the dream make any sense to you in the context I have put it in?

HA!! Absolutely!

If the dreams represent 2 people I know exactly who they are, and you're right about the dream with a certain guy and the horses. I'd like to catch him one day!

So if he is the horse part, the snake part must be my old flame the pisces who I'm seriously annoyed with. Got over him eventually, but fri night he text me (again) trying to get me to sleep with him. He's engaged, he's ridiculous and I know now just how very very over him I am. He does change colours, but I don't want to know anymore- maybe thats my renewal.

Thanks so much! You've given me things to think about...
