i have been known to have some very crazy dreams before, but this one takes the cake!

ok so here's the dream.....

my boyfriend and i are a little older than we are now (right now early 20's..in the dream late 20's) and for some reason i couldn't have a child (in real life i would be heart broken but in the dream i was ok with this) and so we decided to adopt. we adopted a little boy and i told my boyfriend.."oh good he's a scorpio like me, but he'll probabaly be a handful"...we had a play room for him (we don't live together right now, but we do in the dream) and as the baby gets older, when he's about 2 or 3 he grabs both of my wrists very hard to where they bruise and he grows a year older. we are in amazement. then he won't eat ANYTHING unless it's GREEN. green food, green furniture, green blankets, etc. and he goes into his room and hoards it and eats it all, then comes out and grab my wrists again, they bruise, and then he grows a year older. also as he grows his eyes get darker and darker and he looks evil. my boyfriend is upset that he is hurting me and thinks we should return him. i tell him no we can't do that they won't let us, but my boyfriend says "we wanted a baby and they gave us an alien." so he says we should kill it but i tell him we'll get in trouble. he said "we'll just say there was a death in the family" (and somehow this was acceptable in the dream) so the "baby" is now about 18 and very big and muscular. my boyfriend and a friend grab both his arms and cut his throat. he screams no! and dies. right behind him is his grave (or actually it looks like someone elses) and next to it is the grave of a wizard. my boyfriend digs up the grave of the wizard and cuts his head off and cuts off the baby/man's head. he switches the heads in the graves and tells me we have to bury them this way so that they don't haunt us. he said we also have to cut out the middle of his body where his stomach was because that's where all his power was. so after a few days, my boyfriend and i are laying sideways in bed facing each other and the middle of the body comes hovering in the air and passes through my center (which was painful) and through my boyfriends center and i say "oh no he's haunting us".....
and then i wake up.
i have been sick with a cold and i had a mild fever when i had this dream. any thoughts on it's meanings?

Sorry about the delay.

This dream could suggest that you have "adopted" some issue/situation/idea that has become a "handful". In fact, it is suggested that the situation is "handling" you negatively, or the way in which the situation is being "handled" is harmful to you, or your hands are tied (grabs wrists/bruised). It could be that this situation/issue is draining you of a lot of money (green), and you do not feel in control of it. It's as if you've created a monster.

Trying to end the situation (kill it) by bringing together various energies/resources and controlling them in order to manifest the desired result (wizard) seems to lead to even more confusion about what to think and do (switch heads/dismember bodies). The control you hope has been afixed to the problem (wizard's head put on baby-man's body) does not work because there is too much that has not been properly assimilated/"digested" or otherwise broken down (stomach portion has power), and so the situation comes back to "haunt" you. The midsection/stomach is also where suppressed energies/emotions are stored, suggesting that you may be feeling guilt or anxiety concerning the issue.

Does this make any sense?

Thank you so much for replying. i am still (a few weeks later) contemplating the meaning of this dream. i believe you hit the nail on the head, but my problem is to figure out the problem! i am wondering which issue (or possibly even a group of issues) this dream is referring to. again. thank you so much.

If you don't know what it is, then I didn't exactly hit it on the head. You must have a lot of stuff going on in your life.

Have you started anything that has gotten out of control?
