Dream:

I'm at the window on second floor of a house, which happens to look out onto the runway of an airport.

A plane is about to take off, but instead of lifting off at the end of the runway, it plunges into the water at end of runway, and starts to sink. Next thing I know, I'm one of the passengers on that plane. It was a slow descent, but nontheless panic starts to set in. I;m a little confused about the ending. But we either got on dry land, or figured a plan of getting on land.

Can anyone tell me what this may mean? I know water in dreams represent the subconscious, but what does the plane represent.

Possible clues: I'm in the first pass of a three-part satrun return. Saturn is in my 12th house.

Hello Hermes

Water does often symbolize sub/unconscious energies, and just as often these energies manifest in the form of emotions. The emotion you mention is 'panic'. A plane can symbolize some certain route you have taken in your life, often your job or profession.

In this case, it is suggested that something you are pursuing or aiming for, maybe job related, could possibly "crash" and cause you a great deal of anxiety, but it also seems that you will pull through it in the end.

What do you think? Is this about your job, or some other aspect of your life?

Yes.

Thank you, Ra.

Earlier this year, I finally got the courage to quit my job, move cross country, and pursue dreams. I expect the success won't come overnight, but I'm still anxious.

I think that is absolutely it.

"... we either got on dry land, or figured a plan of getting on land."

Sounds like you're going to be alright.
