I think kindjali and 26t have hit it on the head. This type of "dream" sounds more like an Astral encounter, so your ex could be an unconscious projection of himself, and so not coming from you. He is probably not consciously aware of his "invasion".

If you wish for this to stop, ask your Guides to keep him out while you sleep, and they will!

Interesting thread.

I would ask both Blue and Kindjali if they have actually done any meditative work to cut the "etheric cords" that bind them to these exes of which they speak.

As Ra has suggested, you could ask your Guides, or Angels (I'm not sure there's really a difference) to kind of act as psychic bouncers for these folks. You might ask Archangel Michael to perform the same function. (ie, "Please Archangel Michael, do not allow <fill in name of ex here> into my dream awareness. Thank you."

While you are speaking to him, you might also ask that he use his sword to cut any and all etheric cords that you have to these people at the same time.

Etheric cords are attachments that we form with parents, siblings, friends, lovers..., well anyone with whom we have any prolonged contact. (or even people with whom we have intense, but short-term contact.) They can be a two-way exchange of energy, but they can also drain you when the relationship is over, if you are not careful to remove them.

Visually, you might imagine the cords being cut, or pulled from the heart chakra, or the naval chakra or the root chakra. If you can visualize this happening, it would be very helpful. Then ask Archangel Raphael to send emerald green healing energy through any remaining ends of the cord that might still be in place.

I have found this very helpful.

I have done this as a distance healing type of thing...for myself and my ex, and also for my boyfriend with his ex. I visualized the cords being separated from my heart and his and his heart and hers and him saying goodbye. Then I visualized our hearts being healed by a white light of protection. Is this correct and how often do you need to do it?

Well, surprise or not, I feel in love with another woman this summer. This gave me needed feeling for somebody else. Now I know I can love somebody else.
Now I watch past as past, nothing else.
Regarding ex...well, I don't know what life brings, but there are possibilites that life paths would cross again. If that is a case I don't know. I asked "angel" to stop her intruision, and after that I stopped dreaming her 3 weeks ago.
Most important is, that my heart is open for others, It proved this summer.
Dunno what role it plays my dreams in my life, but I have Neptune on ASC and Moon in Piscies in 3rd house.

While light is fine. White light is also angelic in nature and ALL of the colors are God energy, just in different hues and facets.

Once should be enough, if you truly LET GO! If for some reason you are unwilling to let the person go, you may repeat as often as needed, until you are free of the cord.

Remember, in doing this little exercise, no harm will come to anyone. However, sometimes people find that when the cords are removed, the other person senses the severing (and loss of its attendant energy) and will frequently try to contact the person who did the cord cutting. If you do not wish this contact, state that as your intention while you are cutting the cords. And as always, remember to send healing to yourself and the ex. It can never hurt!

As BR discribed, it was a very vivid dream. I was able to feel his feelings & thoughts. It was a scene/situation he would conjure. It started out as a dream with people who are in my life now, in an everday exchange. Then, out of nowhere he is in the dream. I was standing by, talking to someone when he just manifested. In the dream, he said somethings that were left unsaid.

I felt sad when I woke up, and saw my sleeping husband next to me. Sad because I don't know why my ex visits me in my dreams, since I haven't loved him in a long time. I love my husband very much and dislike having these flashes of the past.

If I have a dream that tells me something about the person's future and it comes true(total reality), would that be intrusion of my part into his life, or can it be an intrusion of his into mine?

In other words, seeing the future and having another person in it, and even so the dream revolves around that one person is that my mind doing it, or is that a connection with his/hers unconcious self.

I am not sure if I am asking the question correctly now...

That is a great question. Unless it is intentional, I would not really call it an 'intrusion'. However, I would agree that there is a connection with the other's unconscious self, regardless of who 'intruded' into who's dream.

Sometimes our lives and our energies just become entwined.
