Topic: Please interpret my dream last night...

Hi all! Lately, I've been having dreams that I feel are very intuitive...well, last night I had a dream and I'm wondering if anyone will help me interpret. I've been on dream dictionary websites all morning but they all have the same generic, mildly confusing meanings. Here's the dream:
I recall in the dream my boyfriend and I are living together in an apartment. We seem to be in a bright, living room in the apartment talking. I remember we are getting ready to travel somewhere. I remember myself sitting down and him packing up his luggage and I recall my luggage was already packed and I was waiting for him to finish. I recall us just talking and I was so happy, I felt this peace and I leaned over to kiss him. At one part in the dream, I saw the back of his head. I remember coming back into the living room from wherever and I noticed him zipping up his luggage. I leaned in closer to him to ask for another kiss and all of a sudden it was my ex-boyfriend's face and I remember he rejected the kiss and I felt rejected. (As a side note, my ex had an issue with emotional intimacy) and then I remember my boyfriend and I getting ready to leave and then I remember thinking that I should have called my cousin to invite her along on the trip. That's all I really remember from the dream. I recall feeling happy, at peace, excited about the upcoming trip. But then feeling 'rejection' when I saw my ex. At the end of the dream, I was back in the same pleasant state I was in at the beginning of the dream. Now just as a side note, my boyfriend and I do not presently live together...we both live on our own. As far as my ex is concerned, it was a deeply transforming relationship but one that was also emotionally draining. He expected way more from me than I could give and at times, I did feel emotionall stifled because I wasn't able to express myself completely to him or show affection the way I wanted to. So can anyone shed any light on this? I feel it is a positive dream just from what I felt alone, but I want to know what others think. Thank you very much!! Happy Holidays to all! ------------------

Well I see three possible options here:1) you are quite happy in a current relationship and probably you are planning move on to the next stage of your relationship (getting ready to travel)but then your bf might have done something that reminded you of your ex (in a bad way so that you felt rejected) but you made up sooon so that did not really affected your relationship 2)you are quite happy in a current relationship and probably you are planning move on to the next stage of your relationship (getting ready to travel) you suddenly get scared of getting too close to your current bf cozz it reminded you how emotionally draining and difficult you previous relationship was...but you got these memories out of your head soon after 3)you are quite happy in a current relationship and probably you are planning move on to the next stage of your relationship (getting ready to travel)for a moment you thought of your ex, remembered him and you r relationship, how you felt then but then you are back to your current relationship again Does it make any sense to you? Your possibilities do make sense..and you gave me a different way of viewing it.
It's so funny how you mention a change in my relationship because I have been intuitively feeling that there is going to be a big change in a positive sense in my relationship...we have been getting closer and closer in the past few weeks and I can't describe how it makes me feel. Maybe deep down I have an underlying fear of being rejected, i.e. my insecurities coming out in the form of my ex?
Normally, travel in a dream indicates a change of some sort or a new step towards a goal, progression and for some reason that I can't explain, I recall feeling in the dream that it was pertaining to him and me TOGETHER...not us individually.
I kept thinking that it felt so good to be traveling TOGETHER. I was happy and excited. The main theme was about the travel, so I feel your suggestions are on point. Thx again for your insight.
