I lived in a very large city but it was like no city that exists right now. It was considered a sort of Utopia by the people that lived there and by the people that ran it. Everyone wore long tunic type outfits in earthy and beige tones. I was wearing one as well. Everything that was built was the colour of sand and all the buildings were made to look like dunes except the main area of the city which, although it was still sand-coloured, had great domed ceilings covering a wide tiled walkway that ran along the river. The tiles on the walkway were such that they reflected the river perfectly so it looked like two rivers were running along each other... so it looked like the people that were walking around on their daily business were walking on water. I was sitting along the banks of the river one day. The banks were covered with sand coloured houses made to look like dunes and I was sitting atop one of those. It was covered with sand coloured man-made paper flowers the side of a head of lettuce. I picked one and was holding it in my hand and inspecting it. There were other people around me enjoying the weather and some were having little picnics. I peeled one of the layers of the flower off. It was very dry and lifeless - like a paper grocery bag and shaped sort of like a star fish with 5 petals with rounded ends and a hole in the center. I let it fall from my hand into the water of the river which was clear. It soaked up water and became fuller and then began to move as though it had a life of its own. This drew attention from a bunch of people on the shore who were fascinated. The petal began to undulate like one of those exotic jellyfish in the ocean and we realized it was certainly alive and colours began to shimmer through it. I peeled off another layer of the flower in my hand to drop it into the water. The people around me were anxious to see what would happen but whatever I was doing was some sort of taboo because they were also worried about getting in trouble. I was a little concerned of being in trouble but the interest in what I was doing was far stronger than my fear. I dropped the piece into the water and it did the same thing the first flower piece did and came to life, floating gracefully along with the other one. I dropped piece after piece into the water, the pieces getting smaller and smaller and I finished the flower and the river in front of us was full of jellyfish type life of varying sizes. This caused quite a stir among the people and all sorts of conversations. The 'powers that be' or the government or whatever you want to call them weren't too happy about this and I realized I was being watched from then on. Nobody was ever allowed to leave the city anyway but I found that I had the urge to leave but since I was being watched it would be very difficult for me to do so. We were taught to fear leaving the city all of our lives because we were safe within the city walls. Every time I came close to the gates, the agents watching me would come out of hiding and I'd have to pretend I was going about other normal business instead. One day I was being chased by agents but I didn't get out of the gates again so they were chasing me through the sand coloured city. We got close to the river and I considered jumping in and letting it carry me out of the city but the agents that were chasing me turned into water animals as their feet touched the water so I knew if I jumped in then they'd easily catch me. I felt myself changing as I ran and they swam along the shore after me and before I knew it I realized I was a seagull and I was flying. They couldn't catch me and I was filled with joy as I flew straight up out of the city. I was no longer even flying but being pulled directly upward. I could feel that I was some sort of woman / bird hybrid as I was being pulled. The city got smaller and smaller until it was just a dot on the landscape and then I could see the ocean and the shorline and then clouds. Soon I was above the clouds, too, and I could see the curvature of the planet and I worried for a second I wouldn't be able to breathe but that turned out not to be an issue. I was pulled out further and further then I was in space and the planet seemed to be my size, then the size of a child, then the size of a basketball... and I could see the moon orbitting it. I laughed and said "You know I don't like going too far away." and another voice said "Don't worry, you won't get lost. You can always find your way back." To which I replied that I knew I could. The planet became a tiny pinprick of light among a billion other stars in the sky and then I stopped moving and just enjoyed everything around me. Since I wasn't being pulled anymore I directed myself back to my planet, feeling very happy about just everything. I found my planet with no problem and entered the outer atmosphere. Entering the atmosphere again was an event unto itself. It was warm and inviting and I remember thinking as I did it that it was like being birthed again and to consider it as such. I sort of squeezed through the outer layer of the atmosphere surrounding the planet and emerged into the lower atmosphere feeling very happy. I woke up in a room of another city on the planet surrounded by people. It was a small room that was supposed to be an apartment. This was more like a modern day city apartment but everything was dingy and the people were nervous. I was still very happy, though, and determined to tell them what I learned and how to break out of their oppression despite the fact that they could turn me in. I wasn't worried about that at all. Very interesting dream!I think it is somehow connecetd with the religion; Your religion had good moral teachings (sand=light colour, walking on water) however it was a complete Utopia (as you said). It soothed, but it was lifeless=nice city, beautiful people, dried flowers. Nobody ever challenged it. We were taught to fear leaving the city all of our lives because we were safe within the city walls. Then you learnt how to access your spiritual side more and more and you did not care what other people might have said or done, little by little (petal by petal)you began your spiritual walk through life, reaching deeper places within; it turned people of your religion against you= they were chasing me through the sand coloured city but it could not stop your self Empowerment and connection to the universal mind I was a seagull and I was flying Your mystical journey lead you to the true God, you’ve explored the Universe and learnt the Truth, and it filled you with joy and happiness. Probably you have found out your spiritual Mission on Earth I was still very happy, though, and determined to tell them what I learned and how to break out of their oppression despite the fact that they could turn me in. I am sure the dream is about your True spiritual awakening! Amazing! What do you think? ------------------ IP: Logged |

Hi MoonWitch! It is an incredible dream, and I very much agree with Peri! In fact, the whole story, particularly the 'journey into the heavens', is very similar to certain experiences of Enoch. Are you familiar with Enoch and his 'trip'? IP: Logged |

Peri ~ Thank you so much for taking the time to read and respond! I love your interpretation. I don't feel like I've found a spiritual mission but I'm happier than I've ever been. I'm content and I'm not really searching at all for religion or big answers like I used to. Maybe that's my mission - to just accept the Universe and BE. I don't know! I still consider myself spiritual but I don't even like to follow the 'rules' of something as loosely knit as paganism. I just am. It's good. Ra ~ Not familiar with Enoch at all but now I'll have to go look it up! Will do that tonight actually..

MoonWitch, I may have told you this before, long ago, and I still get the same impressions today. Your dreams have always suggested it, to me. I feel that your Mission, at least an important part of it, has so much to do with your son. I have always felt that you are Mother to something wonderful which exists in the future. Something about the way in which you have raised your son, what you are helping him to become, is having an effect upon future events in some way. I know that statement holds true for any parent, but I am talking about something bigger than the ordinary. Anyway, just thought I'd throw that out there. IP: Logged |

<3 Thank you, Ra. I remember you saying something similar before. Hunter sure is an unusual and brilliant little guy. I'm lucky to have ended up with him out of all the little kids out there.IP: Logged |
