Last night was different.

In the beginning of the dream I was running through a forest and through clearings. It almost looked like the fields / woods here in Germany. Two black, ferocious horses were chasing me at the request of an unknown person- male. I could hear him laughing in the background.

I turned to the horses, steam came from their nostrils, their eyes were angry and their breath was hard. I told them I wasn't afraid. At that point, they melted into the black earth and emerged as though they were flying. Hooves straight up, their necks stretched towards the sky and as they rose, they went from black to a white with grey spots. They were larger and more magnificant than I had ever seen.

Without speaking they called me to follow. I felt as though I was tracking them without my feet touching the ground. We went through the trees until they stopped at a clearing. They rose up on their back legs and formed a "Crest" over a cement object that was out of the ground. It looked like a monument but was old and hardly readable. I was then called to another "task". I say task because it seemed like I was being bombarded with a series of trials all involving animals.

I was then in a large crowd in the middle of a meadow or grass field. Everyone started to run. A massive male Lion appeared out of nowhere. People screamed to get away and the lion began to charge. I was taken by his beauty as he almost glowed as though he was from another realm. I heard the evil laughter again and felt like I should flee. But I couldn't. Instead, I held my hands out and said "I am not afraid".

The lion ran right up to me, paced, never breaking eye contact. At once he roared and then laid down at my feet. Almost as though he was guarding me. It felt very "Tarot" like- the "Strength card". Now that I think of it, even the horses reminded me of the "Chariot card".

I thought it was over but then I was back in another crowd. I was in a bizaar type setting. Again, the crowd became fearful and out of nowhere a black panther crested the rocks. He stalked and watched. I was THRILLED. My guide was back. I missed him so much and I ran towards him even as others ran in fear. I could see the majestic green in his eyes, his muscles taut as he ran towards me. People yelled to run, that he would kill me, but I knew better. It was my old friend and I needed to see him.

He ran faster and I stopped. For a moment I was afraid, I could feel the eyes of the entity behind me wishing I would be killed. The panther's mouth opened.. he stopped right in front of me. It seemed more of a smile than an attack. I went to my knees and threw my arms around him. "I missed you friend. I have been seeing you but I only catch glimpses of you walking ahead of me. I lose you when you turn corners".

I could feel the warmth of his coat, just as I had in a previous dream years ago. He told me he had missed me to, but that he had to wait until it was time. He said I had been patient and the time was coming. I was almost in tears because it had been so long since I had really been able to hold him. He told me to be strong.. and to wait..

Then he was gone and I was alone to walk up a hill. The entity grew angry and told me that I would never make the next challenge. In my hands appeared a baby wrapped in cloth. I was to make it through the rocky hills and terrian without losing the baby. I heard growls behind me and I took off. I had a guide, a man that said to me " I have no idea what I am doing here. I am just the guide." He was an African American man- someone from an old 70's show. He led me to the large rocks that jutted from the mountain and said "That is where you must go".

I held the baby and tried to climb. Somehow the baby disappeared, but I knew he was inside of me. I was carrying him within and I had to make it to the other side. A large black bear came up the side of the mountain. He was charging towards me and I ran over large rocks, through holes and hid in crevices. I could hear the laughter again. I stopped and said "I am not afraid of you either brother. Please let me be". He laid down and I was free to move.

I made it through that challenge. The rest of the dream becomes spotty. As I walked into a great hall there were animals everywhere. They all stopped to look up to me. I could communicate with all of them. It was a celebration for completing the tasks but it seemed like it was only the beginning...

My last memory was holding a long haired daschund. He was spotted gray and beautiful (I don't much care for small dogs) I was cradling him and he just smiled.

Very odd...

I have a feeling there is going to be alot going on in 2008. I also have a feeling that my guides have become more active to help serve to protect me. In my heart, I know that I need to concentrate on the animals that appeared and research their meanings.

Anyone have any thoughts or advice?

This is the info I found on these animals:

Black Horse represents some hidden agenda, deep, repressed passions, untameble essentric nature, stray from the flock, a foreigner, astrologically it represents the 6th degree of Cancer

Jaguar is the totem of Tezcatlipoca (Aztec God) "the primary lord of the underworld" more than anything Tezcatlipoca appears to be the embodiment of change through conflict

Seems like you are figting against dark sides of your Self, you face them without fear and you call your Spiritual Guide to help you win this battle.

The baby represnts your Inner Child, the power of the Bear totem is the power of introspection. The answers to all our questions lie within us. You are not scared to look inside either.

And finally, the Dachshund, it is a friendly, lively and a courageous dog, persevering in above and below ground work with all the senses well-developed. Hmm, the meaning is clear, I think.

Any thoughts?

I got huge goosebumps all over reading this one!!! You are VERY PSYCHIC and your dreams are EXTREMELY SPIRITUAL!!! So amazing!

Yes, I am totally flabergasted (word?) that you recently dreamed this and then the escape and killing of Tatiana the Tiger at the SF Zoo.

I am curious, do you think about the Jaguar and the Horse during your waking hours and do you yearn for their communication?

Here are some interpretations from my dream book, "The Dream Book, Symbols for Self-Understanding" by Betty Bethards.

LION: Strength, power, femininity. Fear of aggression, anger in self or others. Taming the Lion is meeting one's own fears through inner strength and love.

HORSE: Freedom, power, sexual energy. Riding horseback suggests oneness with nature, expanded sense of self.

Panther and Jaguar are not in my dream book, but here is CAT: Feminine part of self.

BABY: New birth within self; new aspects coming into being, new beginnings. Openness, untapped potential for growth.

Thank you for your interpretations. Yes, I do think about my guides often and I yearn to communicate with them. I have started a major new chapter in my life. For the first time I am living in Europe (Germany) and I just moved here in October. My husband just returned from his deployment to Iraq and at the same time I made it through an invasive surgery. We want to have a baby but we are taking it one day at a time because we aren't sure if we can because the surgery was not able to remove the fibroid.

I am excited about the new adventure and I couldn't be happier. I have seen the panther in a few of my dreams, but he is always leading away and turning a corner before I can reach him.

Usually the guides start to really come to me before a significant world and personal event (which seems to coincide with each other)occur. I believe they come to comfort me, to warn me and to let me know that I have the strength and protection to make it through the trials.

I had the same types of dreams, culiminating with the actual events of 911 (I was in the second plane) the Tuesday before it happened. I was not surprised, although I was struck with fear and deep sadness, when I saw the TV footage of what happened. I had seen that same thing in that dream.

Oddly enough, Bear has similar dreams that go with mine. We had different but similar dreams about living with a tribe, way back in time, near the East coast. In my dream I was the healer, married to the chief. He left for battle but returned too late (as I had just gotten shot in the back as my village burned). Bear dreamed he had left a village, his village to meet with other Indian heads, but when he returned his village was being raided and burned down.

He told me about it after we had met. I then pulled up my dream that I had archived and he was in shock.

I think it has also taken me awhile to get back into my dream-state. It is where most things come to me but it had been dormant while Bear was deployed (I could hardly sleep) and it took awhile to get used to living in a different country. Now, things seem to be back on track and I am grateful to be dreaming again.

Not sure if you mean in real life you were in a plane before it happened?

That is amazing that you both had similar dreams before you met!

You are very lucky to have Spirit Guides that you have memory of contact with. Would be cool to think about them in your waking hours, meditate, and try to get answers/images/messages from them. Also to see if they would come to you in dream form that night.

Do people in your area speak English?

Good luck with the fibroid issue.

Nice to be getting to know you a little bit, we've both been here for years but I never conversed with you before.

Thank you for your reply . In the 911 dream I was on the second plane, in real life, we flew from Baltimore to Arizona the day after I had the dream. Our flight was diverted to Cleavand and my ex-hubby thought maybe that is what the dream meant but I told him it wasn't the same at all. I had flown over water into a large city and the first plane hit a tower. I saw the people screaming a pounding on the windows, then our plane steered towards the next tower and we hit. It was really spooky.

It is funny how you and I have been on for years but we don't cross paths too often. I do check into Healthcliff's corner often because I adore animals. I love that you are the mod there.

I am sure we will cross paths more often in the future. I am starting to get back into Astral realms again.

Last night I dreamed of animals again. Smaller but they were all around me. I remember their names (most of them were ferrets or mere cats - myke and cheyna- a Siberian husky and a few chincillas). It wasn't as intense but the relied on me for help. Odd.. LOL...

I, too, have been waiting for your Jaguar and Horse to reappear and astound us with information from Spirit ... finally! It has been a long time.

How are you doing? For some reason you have come to my mind lately, before you posted, I hope all is well.

I do think something is going to happen and maybe my dream had nothing so much to do with my own testing, but a testing globally.

I want to really think about what each animal in my dream represents, either on a state scale or through various countries..

Who is doing what to whom, so to speak...

The way I see it, the Horses and the Jaguar are not symbolic at all, and neither is the baby. It seems to me that your Guides are telling you that you are going to become pregnant, regardless of the fibroid issue, which is itself one of the trials of faith you will encounter during your pregnancy. It is all about facing your fears and knowing you have the strenth and power to force into submission any adversity/challenge that blocks your Path. Your Guides are showing you that it is not going to be an easy journey, but that you have the ability to make it through the challenge.

We could also speculate that your baby will be a boy, as you twice referred to the 'dream baby' as such.

The animals in the Great Hall could be souls waiting to be born, and the long-haired daschund you held could represent the child that will come to you. In fact, I think this "spotted grey and beautiful" dog is the same entity as the grey spotted flying horses that you have freed from the fears in your psyche (they were black and angry until you lost your fear).

The small animals in your last dream are a perfect representation of new souls, which could be why they relied on you for help, because they want to be born!

I can't help but to think that the Bear and the Lion have something to do with your own Leo Bear.

You could be right about the connections between this dream and something larger in the world, but I do believe it is connected with you personally as well.

Thank you for bringing up this dream in the other post. I am in awe as I had forgotten about this dream all together. In the other thread I remarked how I had turned off a part of myself mainly because things got so hectic. Bear and I have had to endure trial and trial (or tasks after tasks like the dream). We have made it through those trials and the last one was the worst.

I don't want to sound cryptic, but there was one person that made our lives hell. He tried to accuse Bear of things that weren't true. The worst part came about 5 days before I miscarried. In the end Karma bit him in the rear, but for us... well, the stress was too much for me. Bear handled it like a champ and was / is always there to shield / protect me.

I knew the one we lost was a boy, we both did. I held myself almost the exact way as in the dream and felt the exact way as what I said as far as going up the hill with rocks. It seemed like I knew in my heart what would happen because I had seen it before. I can't explain it right now.. I am in tears because it is so clear now.

I am not sad or angry. Instead, this dream, this thread, gives me hope. What was lost will be found again and we have made it through the trials.

Ra you are amazing to remember so much about so many people here. Your compassion touches me like I have never known before from someone that has never even met me.

BTW... the dreams are coming back again. This experience has opened up the door that I once closed. Even Bear is feeling it and dreaming as vividly as he did before.
