Ok so I had this dream last night, where a part of it kind of upset it and I don't really get what it could mean... I need help in other words, please! Now the reason why the dream upset me is the contents... and that I know that a crow symbolizes death, malice and evil allot of places =( Ok so the part of the dream is the following:

I'm on a boat, and there's a crow there. (that I by the way love very much, not because I know it but because, well, I love all animals). So this crow had done something to me, and felt very guilty. So the crow jumped off the boat and into the sea where it sank and sank until it hit the seabottom. I could vaguely see the crow from the boat, and knowing that the water was very deep I HAD to save it. So I jumped into the sea after it, swam and swam and swam (which was REALLY difficult, since the water was so deep, and there were strong currents even though the water was calm). Eventually I found the suicidal crow on the bottom, whom just waited to die. I pulled it up from the water and told him how sad he'd made me to do such a thing and that it was alright. Now the rest of the dream I can't rememeber very well. Only that it was pretty scary and involved ghosts taking my friends hostage and me having to save them.

So anyways... Any thoughts please?

Lots of love=)

Hello RainbowDay

Well, in this dream I don't think the crow necessarily symbolizes malice or evil, but rather something that can be looked at as being "dark"/shadowy, unknown, unconscious, secret, or even a shadow aspect of self.

So this crow had done something to me, and felt very guilty. Guilt, I think, is what the crow represents. Is this your own guilt, or does someone actually feel guilty about something they have done to you?

You also said, I ... told him how sad he'd made me to do such a thing. How does this statement, in conjunction with the above, fit in with a waking life situation?

It is obvious that you are trying to "save" something or someone. What/who is it? Is it outside of yourself, or is it something internal?

Ok so first of all I've got to say that your analysis of my dream is amazing!! Thank you so much!! I've had some time to think about it now, and I think I get it, it's indeed internal. I think I'm feeling guilty because I'm kind of betraying myself and my heart right now... I don't think I've mentioned it but I actually love crows, even though no-one else seem to do so. I think what I'm actually trying to save that part of myself that no-body seems to recognize. It may be an unneccessary crow to others, but to me it's a part of myself and even though it causes trouble I can't not be true to myself. Which is why I HAVE TO save that crow.

I don't know if this makes any sense. But I just can't explain it any better=/

Thank you so much for helping me understand this !!

Of course! I'm glad something made sense to you. I never know if I'm close or not, and often feel like I'm shooting in the dark.

So thank you for responding, and thank you for sharing your dream.
