I have all sorts of dreams that always include people I know, even people I knew yeeeaarrrrs ago and haven't seen for ages. But there is this person who is on my mind all. the. time. I never dream of him, though.

Isn't that weird? Usually when I'm preoccupied with something it shows up in a dream somehow. He's never there though. Hell, I WANT to dream about him. Maybe my mind is in overdrive during the day and dreams are my escape from my thoughts of him..

That has seriously annoyed me as well, you never dream of someone you WANT to dream about, heheh.. Not usually, at least. I have on very few occasions met people I have been preoccupied with in daytime in my dreams, but the dreams are never as expected, they always surprise me. And on those few occasions I have been excited for days afterwards, it has always felt more like a real encounter than just the silly old daydreams where you direct everything. In a way I guess you're directing the dream as well, unless you throw the possibility of astral travel, telepathy, souls connecting and such in to the mix

"There is no use trying," said Alice; "one can't believe impossible things." "I dare say you haven't had much practice," said the Queen. "When I was your age, I always did it for half an hour a day. Why, sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast." Lewis Carroll

I can really relate to your dilemma. I wish I could dream about him, cause it seems like thats the only place I can really reach him.

Yeah, that is pretty odd.

Can you try to keep busy with other things so that you don't think about this person in your waking hours.....?

Another thing, is that you have to ask your angels, guidance, and/or higher self what the issue about this person is, and please to answer you in a dream. Then, I have a feeling pretty soon you will have that dream.

This is true for me also. I have thought about that and found it strange, for like you, this one guy is always on my mind and never in my dreams. Lol..maybe that is a sign.

I suspect that if you were to stop thinking about the person consciously, the subconscious would take up the slack, and you may begin dreaming about the person.

If there is something for that person to teach you, on whatever level, the mind, consciously or subconsciously, will bring it into your awareness.

That's the way I see it.

Hmmm I don't know.
I'm pretty known for having weird dreams among my friends (probably because I remember them quite vividly).

I actually found that if I wake up in a middle of a dream and think about a person my next dream (or the one I would remember, REM and all that...) would be about him, although highly abstract as any typical dream is
