Last night I dreamt I decided to burn the house down.
I knew it was my mother's house and for some reason I lived there with her and my sister (no house we ever actually lived in though).
I walked from room to room squirting lighter fluid (or something similar) everywhere and thought very hard about the best way to light the fire so it would all catch fire quickly and I wouldn't be caught in it when it all went up, there was a brief moment of guilt when I wondered if I was doing the right thing- for some reason getting caught didn't seem to matter.
I lit the furthest bedroom first, then the other rooms and left the house. I watched it go 'whoosh' up in flames.

Definately weird

P.S. Ra, please read my last post in the 'jellyfish' thread. I'm very interested in your take on that dream.

Im not as good as RA is but I'll give you my take on it.
Maybe you want something to change in your life, eager for some sort of traumatic or life altering event to take place and transform you. I think this dream is a indication you FEEL that life is very drab right now, you want CHANGE, you are hungry for it.

Another possibility occurs to me. Do you, your sister and mother share some sort of trait/characteristic that you would like to transform in yourself?

Yes, several things actually!

The funny thing is, they've been living together for a year (just moved into a new house on the 28th that Mum bought).
I was cross with them when I had the dream though, Mum hurt her back and isn't coming down for my long planned 30th birthday (not her fault obviously) but my sister cancelled also which was annoying.
