Weird.

Last night I dreamt I was in the alps going on a skiing holiday. The resort town was amongst steeply sloping snow covered mountains and full of large chalets and expensive looking buildings of holiday apartments.
Absolutely beautiful!
I went into my room with other people (like a backpackers) that had 4 bunks that folded down from the wall.
The top bunks were so low that when someone lowered theirs it hit me on the head.
Then I was in a bus in the same village looking out at an old and beautiful chalet that was closed for renovations. Something bad had happened there years before but it was being restored to be better than ever.
I was glad as it was sensational, it would be awful if it was demolished for something else. Suddenly I heard a noise behind the bus and held onto the seat in front of me as I knew it was an avalanche. The avalanche pushed the bus along the road for a small distance but didn't quite completely cover it and I knew we were all ok inside the bus.
As rescuers cleared the snow I saw other rescuers find body parts belonging to someone who was outside in the snow when the avalanche hit.

These dreams have nearly the same meaning ...

The first dream suggests that you are now able to "see from a distance" (lighthouse) certain emotional energies (water/tide) which before would have been overwhelming (flooded).

I was impressed with the 'good' tide and the fact I knew what was going to happen and hadn't gone any further along the road. That makes so much sense. Do you see what I mean?

The second dream suggests that you have been "hit on the head" by a situation/issue that you perceived to be "absolutely beautiful". You are the chalet-under-renovation. Something bad had happened there years before but it was being restored to be better than ever. And you will be restored "better than ever". It could be suggested that you will experience an "avalanche" of pent-up/"frozen" emotions, but because you brace youself for impact (you know it is coming, as in the previous dream), you won't be "completely covered" and you will be okay.

The victim outside in the snow? I'm not sure. Maybe unwanted parts of yourself, or maybe someone else (the Pisces?).

What do you think about this? Make any sense to you?

I wasn't sure if I was the chalet or if it represented something else...
Interesting both dreams mean the same thing.
The body in the avalanche wasn't someone I know, but I felt so sorry for them and it was interesting I felt a kind of guilt that while I was inside the bus and safe it almost seemed like it was my fault the person (it was a woman) was destroyed.
I didn't get that from a specific event in the dream, just a feeling.
And it really didn't feel like discarded parts of myself, it was definately someone else and I get the feeling this person has been/will be indirectly hurt through my actions (the emotional avalanche?) unintentional as they were/are.
LOL, it'd be funny if it WAS the pisces but it definately wasn't him...

On the upside, I started back at college today which is good- nice to meet new people and have a new distraction. Also got a handle on my minor bi-polar 2 disorder which probably explains the symbolism in these dreams of being prepared for emotions (expecting without fear, the high tide and avalanche) I'm not scared of my emotions now I know what my brain is doing and I know I can deal with it...
