What does a flying dragon mean? I remember looking at the legs (they were really thick) and thinking that it looked a little like a dinosaur with elephant legs, but when it flew, I realized it was a dragon.------------------ "There is no use trying," said Alice; "one can't believe impossible things." "I dare say you haven't had much practice," said the Queen. "When I was your age, I always did it for half an hour a day. Why, sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast." Lewis Carroll IP: Logged |

quote: From a website: To dream of a dragon, denotes that you allow yourself to be governed by your passions, and that you are likely to place yourself in the power of your enemies through those outbursts of sardonic tendencies. You should be warned by this dream to cultivate self-control.
Maybe the dragon is symbolizing your passionate nature and/or your strength in general? I think in summary It could mean your strength/power is soaring. Maybe the elephant legs mean your strength was built from grounded foundation? Im not an expert, but this is my guess. IP: Logged |

Sounds like soaring wisdom and strength with the power for destruction if necessary or desired. Nice thick legs give a solid foundation, both feet on the ground, will not be moved once grounded sort of vibe. The dinosaur sense gives extra "ancient" or "old" energy to it, in my opinion. IP: Logged |

Thanks! It makes sense. On a side note, would either of you consider helping Ra out and moderating here? ------------------ "There is no use trying," said Alice; "one can't believe impossible things." If RA is okay with it, I'd like to. IP: Logged |

I would like to do Soul Unions, Randall, if you would like. There isn't much controversy there and I check it almost every day anyway.

I think the meaning of a dragon depends upon your thoughts/feelings/perceptions about what a dragon is. To some, it is a threatening, negative creature. To some it can represent undeveloped, primal instinctual energies. To others still, it is a magical creature full of wisdom and power. I'm leaning towards the latter definition in this instance. That said, I think writesomething and MysticMelody are really onto it. IP: Logged |

Writesomething, I would be honored to have you as a co-moderator here. Randall, I would also like to invite ... another, if she has any interest. There are many who would make excellent Moderators in this forum, but for some reason this person jumps to the forefront in my mind. I'll e-mail you. IP: Logged |
