Lately I'm questioning a lot of things and in a way I feel like I'm having a 'loss of faith' about certain things that I had previously thought to be 'supernatural' or 'spiritual' in some way. It's hard to explain.

One thing I'm wondering about is the type of experience where you wake up, or 'something' wakes you up. And when you've awoken you meet someone or something, either a spirit who might be good or might be bad. But then after the 'experience' you either wake up for real to discover that everything in the room is just the same as it was in the "dream". So it is as though the experience was real but experienced in a different state of consciousness. In another of these dreams, at the end of the 'meeting' I simply went back to sleep. Both of these dreams I've had were completely realistic. After the bad one, I experienced other things in waking life that seemed to be related and I am certain it was a kind of spiritual attack on me.

Or dreams when I have been 'wandering' and they seemed so real in every way.

However I have to wonder were these dreams simply tricks of my mind????????

I have many kinds of psychic experiences and a lot of this happens in dreams. Some of them I can't deny at all. Such as when I have shared dreams with another person (this has happened to me on several occasions where I've dreamed the same thing as somebody else - once I even finished a dream that someone else had started, as though I picked up the thread and took over where she had left off). Or when I have a dream that is somehow a premonition.

And is everything else spiritual or supernatural that we experience simply a mind trick by our subconscious? eg if you see or hear a ghost or spirit... or if you see an elemental... or anything like that. Are they all simply projections of our subconscious? Hallucinations??

I don't know why I've been thrown into doubt about these things, after I believed so much in an astral plane where we can meet or see others who are there, either because they're dreaming or because they might be a spirit.

I think I'm just looking for a definitive answer. I want to know for certain and it's like all of a sudden I want proof!

i know how you feel... i had an intense experience with my deceased grandfather in the middle of the night, a few nights ago..he was touching my hair, and talking to me, and there was a gold/white glow... it wasnt a dream...it makes me feel insane, and likely i just made it up in my mind...but i dont feel his presence without a reason....i wonder about it a lot.

That sounds incredibly intense, writesomething... isn't it strange when you feel within yourself that something really happened but you can always find a way to talk yourself out of it... See when I was younger, and even now, other people have always talked me out of these things by putting a 'logical' spin on it that I very often accept from them. Some things, though...
