I was giving birth to a baby in my kitchen. I didnt scream or anything. it was peaceful. It was a baby boy. My mom's best friend was there to coach me. It was unexpected because i didnt know i was expecting. I was worried about how i would fit into my prom dress, and how my mom and other people would take it. But I didnt really gain much weight so I could still fit my dress. I wanted to be close to him but was afraid to be his mother. He was so beautiful. My mom's friend was trying to coach me on how to be his mom. He was so quiet and peaceful. I just laid him on the table and he went to sleep. My mom came downstairs and she didnt act like she was angry. I was afraid how she would react. My mom didnt try to get close to him either. I took him into my arms but i was so nervous about being a mom.

first thing that came to mind was are you taking on something new in your life? or maybe perhaps this new thing hasnt happened yet....something is coming into your life that sounds like will be beneficial but will make you nervous. you might be worried, youre not ready. im not sure whats going on in your life but i would take this as a sign as something new/good is coming into your life. others will support you, in whatever it is...the dream has support, the baby is peaceful and quiet...so whatever it is, it will relax you, and be good.

it might be but in my dream my mom didnt support me i dont think because she didnt try to be close to the baby either.

I usually tell her my dreams and thoughts and what not but I didnt tell her about this dream. I felt like I was protecting it from her or something. lol

Are you going to a prom in waking life?

The dream could be reflecting anxieties/nervousness you have about going. How you will look, how you will act, and with whom you are going - that sort of thing.

Does your mother know the guy you will be going with? Does she approve of him? Are you concerned about this aspect at all?

There seems to be something going on in your life that you are not sure your mother will approve of, prom or no prom. Is this so?

yes i have a prom in may. i havent really been stressing about the prom. the only thing that is kinda bothering me is finding a prom date. I have asked 3 people so far and 2 have canceled and its really starting to take away my enthusiasm. I guess the dream did have to do with the prom but i dont know what i am trying to keep from her when it comes to what i plan to do for prom.
