I haven't remembered a dream in awhile and this one is confusing. Any help to get to the root of the matter would be much appreciated

I don't remember faces, but I have "feelings" about who the people were in my dream.

I remember someone (who I felt was my boyfriend) hit someone (who I felt was my daughters grandfather) over the head with a hammer. I know this is graphic, but I heard his skull crack-ewww,

I then remember looking through a window of a door in a hospital to see him lying on a table with a doctor and staff and my boyfriend in the room.

He then rose up from the hospital table and I remember feeling very afraid, Like he was coming after me to get my daughter from me.

I had my daughter in my arms, a tiny infant in this dream (she is now 10 months) and I ran away in fear, I had to escape so he wouldn't find us.

I found a downward slanting floor that went straight to the bottom floor and I slid down it with my daughter in my arms, then I woke up.

First, the painting dream, in my opinion, suggests a new (white) start concerning the old situation, painting over the old situation and creating a fresh canvass, leaving the old "behind".

Now, I can see why the first dream is confusing. It does seem to suggest that you are running away from your fears about this situation, but from the description you have given concerning your efforts to right the wrongs, I'm not so sure. You have gone out of your way to face this situation head-on, so in reality you have not been running away. However, because of who you are, it feels like you are running away because you feel forced into giving up the fight.

So you must ask yourself, "Am I running away?" If you truly feel "no", if you hear that word in your mind, then you are not running away. Perhaps there are other reasons for this dream. Maybe it is best to keep some distance, for now, for some reason. Maybe the dream is a warning or caution of sorts. Maybe there is something about the boyfrind or grandfather that would "rise up" and cause you even more ditress. I do not know.

You have to do what you feel is right.

Thank you for your response I think you may be right that the dream is more about me being so "forced" to give up by the circumstances, but I also think I am a little afraid because I have urges at times to go and face them,call them and try to talk to them and see if they are willing to hear my side for Elisabeth, each day that passes she is growing so fast.

I mean, I have no idea what he told them. He could have said I was the evil witch of the west or queen of the damned lol!

But, I also agree that this may indicate caution too. He just started getting money taken out of his check for child support and I bet he is pretty mad...

Another knowflake has told me I am going through a Saturn/Uranus square and that everything that I plan doesn't work out..So maybe there are reasons why this is the way things are right now. It's so hard.

One more question please, what do you think was up with the floor sliding "down"? Wouldn't down indicate a wrong decision or "going down"?
