Hey all,I've been having awful nightmares recently and last night's one was really bad. I was by an ocean ( alot of events led up to this moment but i can't recall what they were) but I was on the edge of a pier which was low to the water...the murkey ocean stretched to oblivian. Then a serpant cobra came out of the water and then dipped back down trying to eat/catch something. I was so scared but didnt know what to do. Ive had other dreams this past week about being chased by a man, through tunnels and being trapped, and seeing sunshine outside and knowing i could not escape. I want to shake these awful feelings. The ocean can symbolise emotional turmoils and a snake can symbolise death or destruction or it can mean life and rejuvenation. Does this fit into what you are going through recently?IP: Logged |

Hi Sparkling I don't have anything very specific either, and pretty much agree with fieryscales. It is suggested that there is something stirring in your unconscious mind (ocean/tunnels) which is causing you some anxiety. Are you feeling "scared"/anxious or "trapped" in some way? IP: Logged |

Hello to both of you-yes to all three. Am anxious about job prospects, about money (interestingly my chinese flatmate said that serpents in dreams symbolise money? and ive been worrying about financial suff) and im feeling trapped too. so i guess the dream is self explanatory :-) IP: Logged |

Yes, the dream would then be pretty much self-explanatory.I would assume that a snake, in the Chinese culture, would symbolise money. IP: Logged |
