So I've always been pretty sure of it that I've had dreams where I've astral travelled. Usually I'm walking around town, and then when I decide to 'go home' I wake up. One time I dreamed I was walking around with a guy I know, but as we got to a corner near my house he suddenly disappeared and then I woke up. It was a bit freaky. Anyway I'm wondering about something. Can other people see you when you astral travel? One dream I had recently was that I was up and about in the bedroom having laughs and fun with a spirit friend. It was one of those dreams where I'm certain it actually happened. Anyway I had ended up collapsed/sitting laughing my head off because I was having so much fun, and then I noticed my partner sitting up in bed in his pyjamas looking at me. We've never discussed it and I know that he won't discuss it if I bring it up - but I'm wondering could this have actually happened? Like he actually woke up and saw me? Or his higher self saw me, at least? A good friend actually just told me that her former boyfriend can astral travel and that one night she woke up to see him standing beside the bed, but then she looked around and at the same time, he was still asleep in the bed! He has also been seen in places where he never physically was, according to her.

Also, I had a dream a little while ago where I started to feel a bit threatened so I became aware that I was in a dream and tried to wake myself up. But all I could manage was an in-between state where I felt like a blob or something. So I realised that I wasn't doing well enough at waking myself up, and pulled myself back into the dream so that I could walk out of the place I was and walk down the street to go home. When I did that, the dream ended and I woke up. Why is it that I need to start walking home before I can wake up? Why can't I just tell myself to wake up and do it easily that way?

Hello GeminiLover

Good questions.

I think people can see the astral counterpart of another, in various forms and phases. Sometimes just a mist or blob, sometimes the actual person. Sometimes transluscent and barely visible, sometimes solid.

I don't know why you need to start walking home before waking. It is certainly symbolic of waking up, but why the body/mind/psyche would need to do this, I don't know.

Thanks for the reply, Ra!

Maybe I just need more practice at waking myself up!

Ra, did you go to the parade this year? I didn't get to go, but I did go to the Con.
