at first it seemed like a mundane dream. i was on a college trip with my whole class, we were visiting some place by the sea.. really beautiful. it was around sunset. four of my classmates come up to me and go, 'hey you should switch places with someone in our group, it'll be fun' (apparently there is a group on the east and a group on the west, so they were trying to get me to go to the group on the west). so i say sure it'll be fun! however we needed permission from a president, who happens to come along. at first he's really stern about it, then he softens up as i go all wide eyed and innocent on him. then he says 'alright' and i get on his chariot (yes chariot) with him. mind you he's wearing those metal warrior/ royal gear of medieval times.
so he takes me to the west side group and changes his mind. 'no i'm sorry i cant do it'. so i try to bribe him.. 'pleeeeeeeez i'll even read your hand', i say. 'you can do that?', he sounds impressed. so we go to this courtyard of some sorts and the water is nearby and i give him a palm reading. 'you seem like a fire sign', i say 'when were you born?' 'december 25th i think he replies'. i seem flabbergasted mainly because the guy i'm in love with was born on the 24 december. he gives me a radiant smile and i notice his dimples.
then i find four signs on his hand. unfortunately i only remember three of them. one was the sun, one was an eagle and the third was a cross placed horizontally (and i think the fourth was an eye, but i'm not sure). then i realize that these signs on his hand are the same as the ones on the pillows of the four classmates that had been telling me to switch groups. 'i'm not switching now', i say. apparently i realize that it is some sort of an omen that they are going to die.
so then the president (i didn't get his name unfortunately) suddenly understands that the assassination is going to happen in a few moments. so he gets into some kind of database and erases all users. right at that moment the killer pops out from behind a wall, but he doesnt know who to kill, so he is very frustrated. the president decides to sacrifice himself and at that time, although i dont see him dying, i hear a voice narrating, and 'that is how according to the myths he came to rule energy'.
it gets a little surreal as i watch the president become a being of light and everything around him becoming light. and he tells me 'i love you' and i wake up.

now can you guys help me interpret this wild and wacky yet seemingly in-significant dream? i'm at a total loss..
