Topic: Flood and dead mice

I thot there was one on LL. Well I had a wierd dream and needed help understanding it. I'll post here until I find the right forum on LL. So anyway in my dream I was walking in knee high water, maybe flood water idk. I was tip toeing through it because I felt the water was icky and didn't like the feel on my legs. I did that for awhile and than wham! The water had drained somewhere and I looked down at the ground and every few feet was scattered brown dead mice everywhere. And I really started hopping then skipping every few steps from these dead mice. What might this mean?IP: Logged |

maybe it means something emotional and overwhelming is happening in your life that will start getting better(draining away), but you will be left with the mess? you will have to deal with the clean up.IP: Logged |

Uh-oh. Well I am experiencing some overwhelming things currently. I have old debts coming back to haunt me that I need to clear away, but there is no money anywhere to take care of them. Maybe that is what it means. I wish it didn't. I know that in the dream I felt very fearful and frightened as was tip toeing past the mice. So I guess it means something that I have to go through cause I created it!!! Dammit!! Thank you for your interpretation.IP: Logged |

My feeling on this is that it is tapping into some basic human fears, your subconscious processing undercurrents of emotion that you have picked up on during the day. Flood ~> topical in the literal sense with freak weather conditions being uppermost in the news. Nature sweeps in and takes everything we have away. Also Messing with nature and causing chaos. In a less literal sense it could be about money ~ the stock market disruption, crashing banks, whispers of forecoming economic doom and like you mentioned your own situation. It's one you share with many people, but they won't necessarily talk about it. But you are picking up on it all the same. Loss of control. Mice ~> My first association here was pestilence. Mice are associated with Hantavirus (correct me if I'm wrong). So I guess that is where that association stepped in. But it does sound apocolyptic, or like the biblical plagues. There wasn't one with mice, I don't recall. But you know what I mean. Maybe. It's loss of control again. It's a fascinating dream. IP: Logged |
