... I had a dream the other night about my mother. ...f*ck... i probably shouldn't admit this to anyone, but it's weighing me down... Alright, i had a dream the other night about my mother. We were in a garage, and she was visibly drunk. She came up to me and tried to hug me, but i refused. When i pulled away from her, she looked at me fiercely and said "Do it." Now, nothing else implied this, but i instantly knew she wanted me to f*ck an animal. She was going to make me. So i started sobbing and said "No, no, i won't!" It was f*cking horrifying. SO much so that i woke up and i couldn't stop trembling. When i think about it.. i ... well, i start to well up. I looked into dreams of beastiality but i haven't gotten any real results. Can someone please help me...? IP: Logged |

what kind of relationship do you have with your mother? do you feel like she tries to make you do things you rather not do? do you feel or have been feeling like she makes you feel like an animal?maybe, you feel she is forcing you to do something that makes you not feel human? goes against your beliefs in some way? just guessing, hope this helped. Authority figures forcing you to do something you don't want to. That was my first feeling/thought/mixture of both as I read that. Bestiality in itself is just a symbol of something you don't want to do (in my view). I get a variant on the theme: being hunted down by authority figures. Mainly Gestapo like sinister types. It could be interpreted in part by me picking up on the undercurrents of feeling around when I was a small child ~ war films playing on the T.V, family who were around during the WWII and witnessed some stomach-churning things. It could also be something deep-seated in my psyche about the need for freedom and not being penned in. I've had variants on these dreams for probably 20 or so years, I don't know. I don't think about it much. I know I am not alone in having a persistent theme. The subconcious has a clever way of processing things that we might otherwise spend our waking time sweating over. Freeing us up to be in a fit state do more useful things. Like type stuff on the net with Disney Channel blaring in the background.

I have a very strained relationship with my mother. She used to be an abusive alcoholic. There's just... well, let's just say that a lot of horrible things happened to me as a child as a result from her being a non-existent parent. But i hadn't dreamt of her in a long time, which made me wonder if it could have possibly been something else. And the beastiality factor, i wasn't sure if that meant anything special- like if i was turning into a pervert or something. Thank you both. I was just really scared. IP: Logged |

You're not turning into a pervert. You are normal. IP: Logged |

Hello meta 4 This dream is a reflection of your treatment by your mother when you were a child. The bestiality theme probably indicates that her treatment of you stunted your development emotionally in some ways. There is probably some specific event connected with this dream (not necessarily bestial in nature). Does something specific come to your mind when you think about this dream? IP: Logged |

Yes, Ra. Something specific comes to mind.. something involving... well, i might as well just say it- something involving sex.But what does that mean? That the incident is going to happen again?? I really, really, really, f*cking hope not... I read somewhere that dreams can possibly indicate something that will happen in the future. Is that correct? How do you tell whether a dream can do that or not? Sorry, i don't mean to blurt all of this out... but i'm just.. i don't know how to deal with this. I keep thinking about the bloody stupid nightmare and i just want to walk away from it. IP: Logged |

In my view, for what it's worth, this is not prophetic. It's part of a natural process where your subconscious processes something you don't consciously think about during your waking hours (if you can help it). Most people do this, I do, as well. I think of it as saving me from having to go into therapy or counselling. Not prospects I relish. Things occur in dreams that could be linked to emotional trauma, something we don't want to face, or just the usual floating garbage sucked up by the subconcious mind during the average day. The world is full of unpleasant and scary things we blank out to keep us sane. At night, the cogs keep whirring and things might float through the filter.

It is only prophetic inasmuch as the past lays the foundations for the future. So, its not really prophetic, it only points to this thing in your past which affects you today. The meaning of the dream, then, is that you are struggling with your past, especially this event and others like it, and trying to overcome the damage done. Make sense? IP: Logged |
