Hello Ra! How've you been?

I had a dream a week or so ago that I know is important, though I'm not sure exactly what it's saying yet.

I'm keeping a snake as a pet - not sure where it came from, but I've accepted responsibility for it. It's not in a physical cage, yet there is one there somehow.

Through the dream the feeling grows that maybe the serpent feels caged. So I decide to set it free. I see it slither through dark alleys on a darkish night and I'm thinking, no, it's too potent to allow to roam free, it might come upon someone and strike in self defense. So it's back with me now and I set it free to slither across the floor of my bedroom while I sleep.

The next thing I know, it's slithered out from under my door and I panic that it'll slither under someone else's into their room so I rush to the door and grab its tail, knowing that this is probably not the smartest thing to do. It turns around and strikes my right wrist.

At this point, I remember thinking, "I'm glad this is just a dream. if it weren't what would I do? This is a really venomous snake. No matter, I'd tie something tight around my hand to stop the poison spreading, and I'd drink lots of water to flush the toxins out." I'm very calm in the dream, I'm not really doing anything about the bite, I'm very laid back, and I'm not really worried about it either though I know it's dangerous. Somehow my life doesn't feel like it's in any danger. No unsettling feeling anywhere through the entire dream.

Any ideas? I've been thinking concepts more than anything else..like freedom? Power maybe?

Hello SunShyne

I apologize for the delay.

Yes, concepts. What about sexuality? Have you felt a rise in your sexual energies lately?

There is something within you, some energy, which you feel is "caged" and is in need of being freed. What is it? Kundalini/sexuality? Self renewal? Temptation? Knowledge?

Your right wrist is associated with action or masculine aspects, internal or external, and how you "handle" them. Does this mean anything to you?

What do you think?

Hi Sunshyne! I think your dream is related to your health.
In your dream you weren't really all that worried. Perhaps there is something you haven't been that concerned about but now may be a time to take a second look.
Good luck, and happier dreams!
