A couple of nights ago I had a dream that my husband and I were in an old, Victorian type house (which has appeared rather prominently in other dreams). There were lots of people downstairs, so we went upstairs where it was quiet. I was searching for our room. When I found it, it was devoid of any furnishings, had TONS of sunlight streaming in the windows which were on all sides of the room except the one w/the entrance. I immediately started contemplating where I was going to put all my plants, to take advantage of all the sunlight. When I awoke from this dream, I could not recall it without crying. I had no control over it, the tears would just flow out even though I felt fine. I had a dream similar to this one around a year or so ago in which I had a room at the end of a long hallway that also had other rooms (like a hallway in a hotel), belonging to other people. It seemed to be nighttime as it was dark in the other rooms and everyone was asleep with me being the only one awake. I was feeling sort of envious of all the other rooms, which had very lavish, beautiful furnishings and seemed very comfortable. Everyone looked so comfortable and happy while they slept. My own room had all the lights on (as opposed to the light streaming in from the outside in the more recent dream), and absolutely no furnishings what so ever. With the lights on, you could see that the walls were slightly dirty and needed cleaning. It seemed as though I was moving out of that room, but the dream didn't really indicate that I was moving into anything else. Lots of thanx ahead of time for any ideas! KristaIP: Logged |

do you feel like youre searching for your place in the world>? do you feel like you guys havent built something of substance? or maybe you feel you want to do more with your lives(growing plants)? the plants make me think you are thinking about what you want to do, you want to make things grow(you want to get things done)...IP: Logged |

thanx so much for your reply. ya know, now that you mention it, we are kind of searching for our place. i'm in grad school, he works and so many things about the future are very up in the air right now. on top of that, we don't feel we quite fit into the place where we live. Vegans (i have a house and yard full of plants), spiritual, but not religious at all, minimalist types living in southern fried alabama. so we do see ourselves like wanderers.. not too sure what in the world we intended to be doing here! i never thought of those dreams in that way and once again i so appreciate your input^_^! kristaIP: Logged | |
