Hi Nev

I also had these dreams a few years ago. I was under a stressful period, especially with school and finances. Is your brother under any sort of stresses... that express itself through his dreams??

I also went through a period where I would dream my parents were going to die...never really figured that one out.

Hi,
Yeah....he has been under strees of some time. Nothing is working out for him and he feels that this is a sign for his end.
It sucks when I hear that from him.

Nev.

why not tell him to look at it this way...There is a death coming. The death of stagnation. The death of this negative phase in life. The death of "what didn't work"
It is probably not a literal precognition of a physical death.
Offer him the hope of brighter tommorows and urge him not "fear" the death of his former way of life.Let go and let live.
This appears to me a positive dream element. The only problem I see is his fear of "death" that is to say,of letting go of the past, see?

Nev!
I agree with merratti! This does sound like he is possibly resisting change, and like death, it is something he must face. He sounds resigned to his future, afraid of it for some reason. I'm not getting any vibes here of a physical death, but if he is very depressed he needs to talk to a professional about it. Depression could lead him to a self fulfilling of his dream, if he is very depressed. Is he? This is so very important!
But as I said, I do NOT get any vibes that his dream means actual physical death.Bless you and your brother, may this all work out happily for you both!

Thank You all very much for your analysis. He is very depressed right now. He lost about 3 years and is trying to get accepted in college.

Sorry if the question is stupid.

Nev.... I got that your brother is very depressed. But I also got that the future DOES APPEAR GOOD FOR HIM, but first he must know that the hard times will pass! With you for a brother I feel he can get through these trying times. I know how life's setbacks can drop us into emotional hells. Yes, even poverty. I have lived through times so low, so seemingly hopeless, but I held to the fact that no human condition is permanet, to live life to the fullest means there will be hard times and good times. (How old is your brother? And you?) I have been homeless, sleeping in churches that kept their doors open at night, foraging in grocery store dumpsters for vegetable trimmings, bread etc.. It is not easy when one is depressed or lacking the basic necesseties of life. My life is much better now, that was years ago.
Even though I have an IQ of 160, I could never afford to go to college. I also suffered a severe nervous breakdown in my seinor year of high school, which affected my attendance and my grades. This eliminated any chance of a scholarship for college. I got counseling for my depression, and it really helped! I was so terribly stressed out, overworked, very tired, and depressed. I was an emancipated minor living on my own and finishing high school, and working odd jobs to support myself. I got paid between 75cents an hour to $1.77 an hour, for very hard work. If I had not gone for counselling for my depression, I would not have been able to cope. The next thing, the Easter Sunday, that year, 4 months after my breakdown, I was struck by a car. It was bad. I still carry the nerve and muscle damage to my leg these 32 years later. This did not stop me from becoming very active and physically fit later. Then some 16 years later I was injured again in an industrial accident, and became permantly disabled. Again, my world was turned upside down. I became very depressed, but I had the support I needed from a few good friends to pull me through that depression. Life is full of ups and downs. What I have told you of my life, and its downs and ups, only scratches the surface. I want you to know that I am the happiest I have ever been in my life, and I look forward to more happiness!...But depression is very hard to work through alone. A depressed person often can't think clearly enough to ask for help. I know this! I have been there! The fact that he has told you how depressed he is, shows he IS REACHING OUT for help, or an understanding shoulder to lean on, and cry on. I hope he can go to college if that is what he truely wants in life. Does he? Or is he wanting to attend college for someone elses sake or desire? If he cannot, it is not the end of the world I assure you!
Please, if he can't pull out of his depression alone, help him find someone to talk to, preferably someone he trusts who can help him deal with issues, or a professional. The future is not set in stone, he can make it wondeful, and have good things happen, but the depression must be dealt with first! Once he can get through it, I truely believe that the potential and probability of a great future of good things awaits him. Alot of things in life are neither good or bad, it is all a matter of perspective. It's about weathering the storms of life, because the sun does come out again!
I hope I have helped. Feel free to post back if you wish. OK? Bless you and your brother!

Dearest Fayte,

The encouragment and support you give to a stranger reveals to me that you have passed the class in the school of hard knocks.
Lesson learned(for you).I feel your pain and hardship and I completley (and clearly identify)
I hope the wisdom you impart is not wasted and he he gets the help he needs.
Your a very special soul,my friend.Your advice was great, and I want to thank you for sharing.
There is no shame in depression. We are our brothers keeper, and we want him well.Certainly there are better days comig!!

merratti! I have in my life benefited from the help of strangers. I pass it on whenever I have the chance to do so. Yes, we are our brother's keepers. The school of hard knocks has I feel, in the big picture, been a true blessing! How else could I understand and have compassion if I had never walked in shoes similar to those who need help? And so true, there is no shame in suffering from depression. Life does throw us some rocks at times. Thank you and much blessings and love to you!
PS. yes I too hope Nev's brother will have things work out for him. I believe there is a good chance it will. I sense alot of brotherly love between those two.

Did you ask Ra in Astral Realms yet?

"There is no use trying," said Alice; "one can't believe impossible things." "I dare say you haven't had much practice," said the Queen. "When I was your age, I always did it for half an hour a day. Why, sometimes I've believed as many as six impossible things before breakfast." Lewis Carroll

Nev...I'm not sensing anything specific or bad, but is he not sleeping and eating right? Does he have any health concerns? It really wouldn't hurt him to go to a doctor for a general check up just to make sure he's A-OK. Lack of sleep, and or eating poorly, or junk food, can make people fall into depression. Is he working too hard? Girlfriend troubles? You are good for him, a good brother. Take care.

Sorry for the late reply...but thank you so mych fayte and merrati for the great news about my brother's future going to go well. He is about 22 years old and he lost a lot of years in school (because of transferring form country to country). He was depressed but I am helping him think that everything is going to go well. Dear Fayte, you have gone through a lot of pressure and pain in your life...but you gave so much care and concern for me and my brother...thank u for that!
There is a lot of things going on over here.. I could tell you why he is really depressed if you could give me an email adress through which I could give you a description. The reason for this is so that my message does not get posted in search engines.

But thank you Merratti and Fayte once again!

Speaking of visions of death. I had one yesterday, as I woke up from sleep in the morning.

I thought my heart was going to give up and it felt like my soul wanted to leave me (or it wasnt ready to come back). Was very scary...made me feel very weak and drained for the rest of the day.

Yes I thought it was strange (but not that strange) too, because I don't have those experiences often.

How is your brother doing by the way?

fayte.m...why do you think they may be happening more often for you???

Nev, Ra, in Astral Realms, interprets dreams, as do others there. He is very adept.
I hope that all is well with both you and your brother.

Blessings, Linda

DayDreamer!
Heh heh..... ...I went and "dared the universe".... again....I want/wanted more answers. Be careful what you wish for/demand/summon. I sometimes throw caution to the wind in pursuit of knowledge. I'm getting exactly what I wanted from this latest "I'm ready! Hit me Now!"
Albeit..a bit unnerving....

Is he in some situation, out of which he desperately wants to escape?
