Just wanted to get some specific interpretation about a dream concerning snakes and what it could possibly mean. My Mum had a dream that she was by a tree and something fell from the tree possibly a piece fruit or something..then she described many snakes coming down out of the tree after this object that fell from the tree. She said there was so many! And there was one huge one (possibly mother?).

She said she was abit scared as she does not really like them so she just moved out their way very quickly. I asked her in the dream did they notice her she said no and they just seemed more interested in the object on the ground.

So what do you guys think?

I think snakes have something to do with enemies or fears... probably she succeeded somewhere (e.g. at work) and some people got jealous or she was worried that people around her might get jealous of her success.

ok thanks Peri i'm going to have to aske her about any underlying fears ect.. but it won't be easy lol She has Venus in Cap but with my Scorpio moon she normally cannot hide form me very well lol.

Snakes are also highly transformational symbols also. I'd say they're great but if she doesn't like them...

Peri's right about jealousy, that may very well be possible. Alternatively, there may be some part of herself she's not trusting either at the moment.

No it's not just you..adam and eve, tree of knowledge all rings a bell here and i told her about snakes having to with transformation. Yh my mum is not a very trusting person at all and is a worrier.

So in her case i could put it down to fear or signal of something because my mum not that long ago had i vision concerning me and she does express a psychic ability in her. Thats the first time she has ever had the experience of something flashing across her eyes whilst awake let alone at work. I think she saw my future..or possible future.

I think she is afraid for the well being of a child. The fruit falling from the tree is symbolic of her child because she is standing by it, like the old saying the fruit never falls far from the tree=children. Snakes represent a change of some sort.
