Topic: attempted murder by a man and a woman

so i had a nightmare last night which was so vivid i was scared out of my mind.i woke up a dozen times and when i went back to sleep the nightmare just continued..unfortunately the details slipped away during the course of the day but this is what i remember.
i'm in a place which is like a community center or some place where large groups of people meet and have social interaction. i go into a room and i realize someone is trying to kill me. i panic and i suspect it has to be one out of two people.the man who's in love with me or this woman who i don't know.
i'm wondering out loud..who's doing this, why does someone want to kill me?and it turns out it's the woman, she's trying to murder me in cold blood, and for a minute she turns into this really close friend of mine and i'm hysterical..why does she want to kill me? what did i do? i run away from her into this room, and the man who's in love with me is there. and i'm telling him can you imagine, she tried to kill me. and then i notice that the room was full of pictures of me which have been slashed and there's graffiti everywhere,and i think to myself who could have done this?the man goes out of the room for one minute and i get a psychic flash that it was him when he was under the influence of drugs.the man comes back into the room and i realize he's going to attack me so i run out and he chases me and i run down the stairs and he's chasing me and i get into the crowd and he knows he cant chase me anymore.
then he's walking beside me and we're talking about who tried to kill me and i realize i dont want it to be him because i like him. so we try to blame it on the woman (who's no longer my friend but the face of a stranger) and we find bloody blue sheets as proof that she's the killer and then she starts chasing us and then it's just me and i'm running away and i know if i want to get away i have to get into this school (which is the school that i used to go to as a kid). she's running after me with a really small knife and she gets all these people to help her and they try to stop me from getting into the school but i manage to do it anyway because i can kind of fly and then i run in there and there's a marathon which i know i have to win, and i'm running...i know i got away but i'm not sure and then i wake up for the last time and it's morning.it was a bizarre horrible nightmare and i'm stumped as to what it can mean..any insights? please? love n peace

It sounds to me as if your friend and perhaps someone else like a boyfriend may have been speaking badly of you (slashing your pics= tearing apart your reputation). And perhaps this gossip is about your education in some way. (need to get in the school) And turning others against you. Also if you have a boyfriend it sounds like you don't want to face some truth about him. (you said you didn't want it to be him) IP: Logged |

Can you tell me more about the bloody sheets?What kind, where, who found them, do sheets associate to anything in your country? Any added description would perhaps give more insight. Why were they blue?? IP: Logged |

thanks for the reply good girl.
although the friend i saw that woman become loves me to death and would never speak badly of me. also i dont have a boyfriend..the sheets were plain light blue. i dont know why they were blue, but i always see blue and green in my dreams..a lot! still chewing on this one.. thanx again for your insight! love n peace

Hello Gooober  I agree with some of good girl's analysis. I would add that there is something you are not willing to see ("I don't want it to be him because I like him"). Light blue often symbolizes intuition, so I would also say that you may not be paying attention to what your intuition is telling you (bloody blue sheets). Your dream consciousness is emphasizing that there is more for you to understand, things you need to understand/know/learn (need to get to school), but you are "running" so hard (marathon) to escape the necessity (need to win) of gaining this understanding/knowledge. What is it that you are running from, that you do not want to see? It is as if you have tricked yourself into believing something that you intuitively know is not the case, or that you are placing blame where it is easier to place it, rather than with yourself. If your close friend in the dream symbolizes an aspect of yourself, which she very well may, then it is clear that you are confused about what is really going on and may not wish to see the truth. Are you not being respected in some way?
Do you feel as if some aspect of yourself or your life is being "murdered"/ending/destroyed? Does any of this strike a chord?  IP: Logged |
