i went through a tunnel with friends (who were comedians from TV), it's some sort of leisure or sightseeing spot. midway through i found a shabby bike parking and used a rusty combination lock to leave it there.

then we arrived at an ocean or a river, and fished. i caught a fish and to bite off the tail is the right way to take care of it. there was a place between a ship and the quay, and blankets were cast on the surface of the water. i put the fish on the blanket.

there were a few other fish too, and one spit out a half digested fish. it started melting, and the bigger fish started eating it again.

there were also my mother's dogs in the water. the water was really dirty and polluted. the dogs were like the fish, they were supposed to be thrown in after the fishing. they looked at me quietly, half given up, looking tired. although it was supposed to be done like that, i could not bear the idea of their ending that way, so i decided to get them back. then i woke up...

This dream suggests that you are in a transition of some kind (tunnel), a personal journey (bike). But it seems you are uncertain on some levels, feeling "locked" (combination lock) in your old self/situation (rusty). However, you also feel an urging to leave this old aspect of yourself or situation behind (leave bike).

It is suggested that you are becoming aware of, or are searching for, energy/material which exists in the realm of the unconscious (fishing), looking for insight into some situation. You feel that you know "the right way to take care of it" (bite off tail). This may be something that you will have to "digest" a bit at a time, or perhaps more than once, or perhaps try over and over (big fish eating half digested fish).

It could be indicated that this issue is associated with feelings of loyalty or love towards your mother (mother's dogs), and you may be having a difficult time coming to terms with continuing on this path because of this, feeling the need to save something which you can't stand the thought of losing (could not bear the thought of dogs in the water).

On some level, you feel disgusted with the situation/issue, or with yourself, or having to make a hard decision ("it left me really disgusted").

i've been watching my dreams closely, because i think it aids my spiritual development and transformation i am going through currently. i'm trying to escape the world created by my mother's values that dictated my life to a great degree, and i think the process itself is slow but going well. i want to discard my old self that tried to adjust to her ideals. of course i have my fears, because i don't quite know where it leads me to. i'm trying out different ways. recently we found out about my mother's physical illness, and i feel torn trying to detach and also to care for her.

I admire you for your courage in finding your own path, in breaking away from the old limitations of your past, while also caring for those you are breaking away from. I feel you will find a balance you can live with.
