Just before christmas a house in my neighbourhood came up for sale and I wanted to buy it. It took me a week or so to get the loan in order, but in the meanwhile I was in to my elbows in the whole business, the estate agent was calling me every day to ask if I was ready to bid yet and I was in "negotiations" with my bank to get the conditions I wanted and he wanted me to put in a bid anyway with a "in the process of securing finances" - clause. The suggested price was 1.350.000 NOK. During this time I had a dream, I simply dreamt/knew one night that someone else was going to buy this for 1.400.000 NOK. Because of the financial crisis and everything the interest in the house was low, there were 3 other interested but no one was bidding, until I got my loan and I bid 1.100.000. It was turned down, and two days later me and just one other had a very small bidding war on Dec. 22 which ended with me bidding my loan max at 1.200.000 and they bid 1.250.000, the seller turned down the highest bid and I was out of money. No more bidding and no sale. Last Monday the estate agent called me and informed me someone had bid 1.400.000. The nexy day the seller accepted and the house was sold for that price. I had forgotten about that dream I had, until this afternoon, when suddenly I remembered that I had actually dreamt that the house would be sold to someone else for that price. Was this just a coincidence? After all, I was only thinking about that house and the loan and feared I wouldn't get enough money and all that at the time I had the dream. On the other hand, it wasn't really a dream either, I just woke up with that short bit of knowledge. "Someone else will buy the house for 1.4 million". What do you think? I haven't had any dreams like this that I know of, but I dream a lot, I can remember at least 1-2 very vivid dreams every time I sleep.P.S. The reason I added that whole tedious bit about the previous bidding process was that 1.4 was such an absurd number based on the previous bids and where they stopped. IP: Logged |

Yes, it sounds like you did. That is not really so uncommon when we are stressed or very preoccupied by something. It seems our sleeping brain then goes on ahead of us, and has access to future information.Anyway that is my opinion. IP: Logged |
