most probably the person that sent you the photos evoked fogotten feelings and fears in you making you think about/remember your dad...
or there is something you did or have been doing that makes you feel scared deep inside, it may not be necessarily something bad but our Inner parents are always on guard and there to punish our Inner Child if he or she is being too careless, naive and open

What you said indicates that you have long buried some experience/issue/feelings concerning your father, and the dream suggests that you have been unable to cleanse/purge yourself of the energies/emotions connected with this (about to take shower, but father interrupts) and this leaves you emotionally vulnerable (naked).
