I had a dream that my husband brought home in a sky blue sack, with clouds on it, about a 9 or more cats, which he dumped out of the bag as I was sitting on the floor.
The cats were orange tigers, and white and orange tabbies. All were purring and coiling about us like crazy! He said he was out looking for goldfish and koi fish, and the owner said, here is something you want/need more, and handed him the bag of cats. He did not know what was in the bag until he got home.
I said to my husband, this is all really weird.....look what I found on the doorstep! I had a huge box, that looked like a shoe box but it was like 3 times bigger, and in it were 5 little black and grey long haired kittens. They could talk.
All said hello and smiled up at us. I told my husband I had found homes for the kittens.
We both agreed we would keep the cats from the bag though. There was a extreme air of contentment, love, and peace about it all.
Then we went and checked the mail and found a check made out to us in a huge amount and it had a picture of an orange cat on it.
We both exclaimed, "we're rich now!"
I thought this all quite odd as we have 2 black cats and one Leopard spotted/striped/black/beige/light gray cat.

I am not sure about the meaning of your dream but I have a very good feeling about it; the only thing that comes to my mind: you and your husband will not get exactly what you hoped for but you will be very happy with what you will have instead;
