Topic: Butterflies and giraffes(?)

I had a dream last night there were numerous giraffes walking around in my neighborhood. Some had extremely long necks others short. Later in the dream I was looking outside with my grandmother where we were walking numerous large black and yellow striped butterflies on a tree branch fluttering around. They were large each wing the size of an adults hand. We look curiously at the butterflies and discuss how odd it was to see them, when a larger all red butterfly comes along and joins the mass of black and yellow striped butterflies.
The dream was cool but I have no idea what it means... anyone have a clue?
...also this morning I was watching the series finale of The L Word and in the beginning of the show one of the characters has a giraffe stuffed animal. Maybe I am just looking for connections but I thought it was odd. IP: Logged |

very unusual dream indeed, usually when I read someone's dream I just instantly have an idea what it may be about but here I dont know what to think unless you read/watched TV programs about wild life and saw butterflies, giraffes there...anyway here is what dream dictionary says (I usually don't use them but this time I had too) Giraffe - Something beyond your grasp or understanding. Running away: Loss or defeat because of inability to cope or manage. Coming at you benignly: you recognize a challenge that can overwhelm you. Charging at you: you are beginning to panic because of unprepared ness. If focus is upon its throat: possible health related to throat problem. BUTTERFLY : Butterflies are symbols of transformation and so can be linked to a wish to transform yourself in some way. They are also very beautiful so maybe linked in some way to creative and artistic pursuits such as poetry. can it be somehow connected with you creative / career pursuits? you are doing your best to create something really special that would make you one of a kind? hi librarisingmy interp: giraffes all different sizez etc: Luggage the striped butterflies: flight details on a screen the other wingy stuff with the big red one: the aeroplane flight stuff in general, but I don't think its you I think you will be meeting someone's flight  IP: Logged |

yes, librarising, could be it; giraffes represent students reaching out, doing their best to graduate successfully, butterflies represent transformation (college graduation) that red butterfly is unique among others so you want to make the best possible choice, to make a difference so to sayIP: Logged |
