I had this dream two nights ago. Well, actually it was an image that got stuck in my head shortly before falling asleep.

The dream:
There was a black shining serpent, that is trying to crawl into my mouth down into my abdomen.
I`m not even REALLY scared or horrified by this, just more sort of startled and feeling that this is somewhat "unusual".
But no matter how much I try to keep her out, nothing seems to work.
Actually it feels by trying to pull her out, I am working against some kind of "natural process". Somehow, at unusual it may be, I feel as if I am "meant" to swallow that serpent.
Which is what startled me the most.

are you falling for someone you dont want to or someone you think might be dangerous for you? my other guess is you are experiencing doubts or unpleasant feelings about something start creeping in and you cannot ignore them no mater how hard you try

what do you think?

Peri,

well, me "falling for someone" is always an option.

However, I think yes there is definitely something creeping me out; it`s this alien-talk of LL here.

Don`t get me wrong, I find it utterly fascinating, just I feel VERY uneasy about it, and do not really know how to deal with it and what to think of it.

Maybe it`s just a whole lot to "swallow" for me.

WOW, what an AMAZING dream, DD ! I like the whole swallowing thing you talked about, swallowing certain ideas.
The alien stuff freaks me out too, btw.

I felt your dream also had to do with transformation - that's what snakes mean to me. Shedding skin, transformation, transition. Maybe certain viewpoints and perspectives that are 'hard to swallow' or feel strange are ones that are creating a deep change within you.

I also had a flash of the Uroborous - snake swallowing its own tail - when I read your dream. Infinity, eternity, cyclical life, etc.. And also kunadlini energies. Pretty big symbols there, DD Seems like you're 'digesting' a lot lately?

PS - it was interesting how you said 'her' about the snake.

MVM

" felt your dream also had to do with transformation - that's what snakes mean to me. Shedding skin, transformation, transition."
Yes, I also feel this dream might have to do with transition.

" Maybe certain viewpoints and perspectives that are 'hard to swallow' or feel strange are ones that are creating a deep change within you."
Yes, I agree. Those are sometimes the most lifechanging ones.

" also had a flash of the Uroborous - snake swallowing its own tail - when I read your dream. Infinity, eternity, cyclical life, etc.. And also kunadlini energies. Pretty big symbols there, DD Seems like you're 'digesting' a lot lately?"
Yes, I am. And I even thought of the Uroborous, too.
I only dreamed of a snake once before, and that has been many years ago.

"PS - it was interesting how you said 'her' about the snake. "
Well, in German the snake has the female article, so I slipped into my native tongue for a moment I think.

darkdreamer, what do snakes mean to you? what is the first thing that comes to your mind when you think about them?

Another thing I find very important in your dream is the fact that this great serpent entering your mouth feels unusual to you. What is it in your life that you find so unusual that you find it very difficult to swallow? (Other then our LL exotic topics )

Have you been reading up on Kundalini by any chance? Maybe you feel that the your serpent in the base of your spine has just gotten into you.

I think that the key to understanding this dream lies in your idea of serpent. What it means to you, what it represents to you.

Seeing this MVM's way I can say: You seem to be trying to stop the deep transformation that even though it invades you feels natural to you.

Seeing this the way that I see snakes... You should be careful not to fall for anybody who might be deceiving you in any way.

anyways. that's just my piece of mind

cheers

Evander,

thanks for the input.

"what do snakes mean to you? what is the first thing that comes to your mind when you think about them?"
Transformation. Beauty. Silent power. Shedding your skin so that something new can be born. Rebirth. Sex (well you asked ).

Actually I see serpents as something very positive. I once - not to long ago- even touched one, but only very tentatively. I have the most respect for serpents. I donīt know where this comes from.
But they are also strange, in the sense of unfamiliar, unknown, and I know that I donīt understand them for they are a different species.
Yet, when I touched that serpent some years ago, I was amazed at how soft its skin felt.

"Have you been reading up on Kundalini by any chance? Maybe you feel that the your serpent in the base of your spine has just gotten into you."
Yes, Kundalini was actually the first thought that shot through my mind. But I was a bit surprised, cause I thought Kundalini means something rising from inside, and in that dream it was the other way round.

I never associated serpents with falsity or deceit though. They are just a different species, that we do not understand. But there is nothing deliberately deceitful about them. At least not JUST BECAUSE they are serpents.

i dream of snakes for lunch, brunch, breakfast and dinner. though that's probably because i'm pretty terrified of them.
i've been offered the sex symbolic multiple times. i never really wrapped my head around that one. i'm also aware that the archetypal interpretation of snakes concerns the whole garden of eden story. i choose to ignore both of these approaches.

actually touched a snake once too. also was very surprised at the sensitivity of the skin.

so... soft but powerful force is forcing it's way into you.

I've known that too about Kundalini. But your mind set the stage. The serpents definitely not asleep anymore and it's forcing it's way into you.

Do you feel anxious about this power you're aware is within you? Do you think you will attempt to wake it up?

Were you aware of Kundalini energy before IQ's revolution?

"so... soft but powerful force is forcing it's way into you."
Yes, that sounds about right. And it ties into with that other dream, the one about the black panther. Softly, powerfully.
I like that image!

"Do you feel anxious about this power you're aware is within you? Do you think you will attempt to wake it up? "
I think there is nothing I have to attempt. Everything will take its natural way.
But for once it`s nice to know WHAT is happening.
But yes, I feel anxious and at the same time I feel more and more comfortable with it.
I used to panic when I realized I had power, but I start trusting myself more and that, if that power awakes, I will be able to use it for good, and not get manipulated by it. It`s a strange thing about power; it`s neither good nor bad, it depens on the things it is being used for.

"Were you aware of Kundalini energy before IQ's revolution?"
Yes. I was. But it got stronger since then.

I also had a dream about Shakti, Parvati and Kali once. And that was even before they were being mentioned here, or right in the beginning.

I thought it was strange that I should dream of Indian Goddesses, as I come from an European background. But I guess that is an universal thing.
