Hey all,

Woke from an unsettling dream this morning. was present at someone's wedding and funeral at the same time. At first I was standing in what seemed like a huge theatre for performances and witnessed the wedding of a couple of I didn't know. My parents were there and there was wedding music playing but it still didn't drown out the fact that there was a crowd behind this wall of stage equipment boxes witnessing a funeral. I felt bad that people weren't acknowledging that two events were happening. Then the wedding ceremonary ended and my parents walked away. Then I went to the funeral crowd and started helping unassemble all the stage equipment (big felt covered boxes) and some started to fall and there was big noise! then I began pciking off tape off the floor.

Another part of the dream (maybe connected or not) involved my older colleague from work.He is a married man and I love working with him cause we get along great and he helps me if I need it). He and I were on campus (but it was a destroyed campus so we haad to climb over rocks) and then ended up in the buildings of campus looking for something.

anyways, its been a while since I had a dream where I remember details!

Sounds like it might represent the feeling of the death of Self in some way and merging with another. A wedding might symbolize the end of one, or life as a single person and beginning of a union with another. The two taking place together signifying the feelings attached to the ceremonies and the feelings that come along with them. End of self and beginning of partnership.

Dear T,

Perceptive! I like the idea, particularly as the room in the dream was divided and I was more interested in the union/wedding taking place rather than the death on the other side. Perhaps this is a good sign? A willingness to take apart my individual self and be part of a union with somebody. Also I was "clearing" up in the dream, pulling the boxes which acted as barriers between the wedding and funeral down, it created a big noise but was ultimately beneficial.

Interesting....

Hey all,

Had a dream where I was in an elevator but an old one so you could see all the wires and pulleys and the sparks as the elevator went up. It was awful cause I was scared of falling from the elevator. It eventually came to a stop and I got out but it was scary.

Another part of the dream involved my family I think. We were having to get across a river/ocean on these special wooden boxes. But the box kept leaking so water came in and I can't remember making and having to turn back.

Unsettling feeling when I woke up.
