i had a dream, very vivid and detailed..i don't know how to interpret it.it was about this guy that i've had feelings for, for the past 6 mnths..we are friends, and then for a time we were something more, but he messed it up, didn't tell me he was seeing someone else as well, and apparently now they are kinda dating..so i tried to get back at him by parading with a few men in front of him which made him jealous, then it was a mess and i told him how i felt,he doesn't feel the same way or he's confused, it's this one big giant mess. now we are attempting to be friends and i feel like i'm gonna be the one getting hurt because now he's being all sensitive and nice, but i think it's because he's feeling guilty...so much for background. now back to the dream..
i was thinking quite deeply, searching for answers from my higher s-elf as to what this whole thing with this guy meant, and that's when i had this dream.
i get out of work, and he calls me and we have apparently made plans to meet up and i'm running late. so i go through all these roads in time square, because the place where we are meeting up is on 47th and 7th.. and i'm trying to get there as fast as i can, taking the train and what not cuz i feel like he's getting impatient waiting. finally i get there, and he's waiting inside this place and i look up and there's a very decorative sign which says 'as good as it gets'. i go in there and he's waiting at a candlelit table, he smiles at me and shakes his head and i start apologizing for running late and he says very softly..what took you so long? and then he says let's go out for a smoke and we go outside and stand by these two huge white pillars and then the dream fades away..

what does it mean?i cant get this dream out of my head...

anyone at all?

Wow, this is a powerful dream and seems so literal.
Maybe the sign 'as good as it gets' is saying exactly that. What you have already experienced and know about this person.
Maybe you are ready to accept things the way they are, and that is why he says, "what took you so long?"

i totally get it now..it breaks my heart, but i totally get it.there's nothing more to be between me and him whatever we have now, or lack thereof is all there ever could be. sigh
