Last night, I had a dream I was in an apartment in NYC. It was actually the apartment of an old high school friend of mine in waking life but in the dream I lived there. I was young in the dream – early teens or younger. I woke in the middle of the night and walked down the long hallway of the apartment. There were no lights. I’m not sure what year it was but it was in the late 1800’s. It was eerie and I felt something following me. When I reached the living room I turned and found that Death had been following me. I pleaded for him not to take me so soon.I’m not sure how but I convinced him to wait because I wanted to have a child. He told me he’d come back for me on October 10th, 1913. Skip ahead and now the perspective changed and I was watching the dream like I was watching a movie. I saw who was supposed to be me (didn’t look like me) – many years later on October 10th, 1913. She (I) was very nervous because I knew death was coming but I was older now and my son was grown. I woke up at this point and first thing that came into my head was “OH must post that at Lindaland.” Fell back to sleep and dreamed about posting it on LindaLand. The rest of the night I had several discombobulated dreams about Death following me. I was just doing mundane things and I’d look around to see him there in the background or something. It’s a bit unnerving.

Hi MoonWitchmy first impression is you delved into a past life I think...and the fact that you were aware of death after that in every scene may mean because you tapped into your awareness of the grim reaper in this past life, maybe something going on now in this life may have triggered this past memory... Could also mean you are in the midst of a major transition... Try meditating on this dream...next time before going to sleep ask your Higher Self to give you some more insight into this dream Mystique  IP: Logged |

Hi Amber  I agree with Mystique. Maybe something going on now has triggered this past-life memory. Anything unpleasant with the ex going on at the time?
