To dream of snakes - what does it really mean? why does this reptile take such an important role in human spiritual life? What is the point of Satan tempting Eve in the form of Snake? Why does Lord Siva in ancient Hindu culture adorned with a snake around his neck? and Lord Vishnu too? Why do snakes keep coming time and time again in various mythologies? What do they do? Snakes are wild reptiles not domesticated at all. Then why did Man prefer to worship snakes? Dogs, cows and other animals are understandable but why snakes, what do they contribute? If you think about something long enough, you will eventually find the answer. IP: Logged |

Hi raj....and have you found the answer yet Well I think its interesting that you ask this question... I mean I had a dream once where Neptune/Poseidon whom I always envision as a merman, turned into a gigantic snake and rushed throught underground water tunnels, in the ocean chasing us all...I think I was a little fearful in the dream cause I cant become more Neptunian then I already am, lol!!!! But to your point, maybe our souls use this symbol as a way to connect to our inner life force... Maybe the best comparison of life force moving through our bodies is the snake as our bodies are cylinder like so maybe our souls recognize the snake as the Universal symbol of life/spirit in body form Hope I made some sense I know what I want to say not sure if I garbled it up, lol!! What do you think? Mystique IP: Logged |

Hi Mystique, when you find the answer you won't want to talk about it. But you will find it. My aim is lead you to the answer (sometimes by misleading) not to tell that to you straight away. I am prohibited from doing that!Your dream is very synchronizing! (it is a word I invented just now, it has meaning that is a combination of 'synchronizing' and 'interesting') No wonder you dreamt about it! Perfectly serendipitious! As a Taurean I would expect more from you. Actually I would expect something more solid and tangible than "connecting to the inner life force". You will find it. When you do you won't say it. That is correct, but a Snake is even more than that. I can give you a clue, go back and read my topic "From darkness to Light" in Soul Unions. It may look like an answer, but it is just a clue.IP: Logged |

This thread seems to be a synch at least for menight before this one i dreamt of a snake,it was long but not like of those anacondas--i guess it is more of a serpent? but it didnt gave me fear. at first i was sit quietly and she was lied beside me,like sleeping? but in the middle of the dream i have the sensation that i ate the snake. is this strange or what? then today i researched about snake dreams and found this To dream that you are eating a live snake, indicates that you are looking for intimacy or sexual fulfillment. i think snakes are always associated with temptation. Serpent To see a serpent in your dream, signifies high intellectual power, deception, and the balance of good and evil. To see a winged serpent in your dream, denotes wisdom and that you've overcome negative ways. IP: Logged |
