Hello steelrose These dreams may seem confusing at first glance, but there is a definate message. The symbology within the dreams is repetitive and points in a distinct direction. Your mind is certainly trying to solve a problem ...
Being late for your exam suggests that you have fear about failing in a waking situation, that you are unsure of your ability in handling a situation, and that your self-confidence is taking a direct hit.
Five days, five dialogues, five lines for each. Archetypally, five is associated with transformation. This is indeed what you are in the midst of.
You are asked to write dialogues, which symbolize dialogue/communication with Self, and you are confused about the instructions, indicating that you are having difficulty "speaking" with yourself. It is no coincidence that the question you missed in the dream was "something related to feelings, asking about or dealing with feelings." This is a specific direction as to what your difficulty is ... you are not fully connecting/communicating/aknowledging your feelings. You are "missing" this connection with yourself.
I am not sure about the pineapple, but pineapples can be related to self-confidence, which would fit with the other symbols. If you have difficulty describing a pineapple, perhaps this represents having difficulties with your self-confidence.
The final question, being the fifth (transformation), suggests the answer you need in order to complete your transformation. Again, it is all about communication, or the inability to do so.
The car represents yourself, or how you "move about" in the world. It is what gets you from point A to point B. It is broken. The office is where you "work", or the place within yourself that is not broken. In your case, the office has a double meaning, as it is also the place you are most frequently in contact with a specific problem/situation ... him. In the final question/problem there is no ability for communication with your office. There is only one solutuion ... fix the car. You must "communicate" with yourself, explore your feelings and how you are dealing with them, and only then will you be able to "contact the office", repairing the disconnect in yourself.
The second dream is similar. The map is your psyche. You are trying to "redraw" it, to shift your perspective (horizontal to vertical). Horizontal is the subconscious, vertical is conscious awareness. You say it yourself, "the problem was more complex than I would have expected." Understandable, but you will succeed. Keep trying, even as your self-confidence wavers and you get frustrated.
Talking with your psychologist about this situation is perhaps the best thing you could do. In fact, conversations with him/her could be the stimulus behind these dreams.
I hope this adds some clarity.
We love you, steelrose!
