So here is a short abbreviation of the dream i had last nite..I am in some kind of home thrift store and im looking around and i see this astrology book that i really want and i walk away from it but when i decide that i would like it, the lady whose house i am at, decides that she wants to keep it and takes it and puts in her cupboard.. and then my dream switches to me getting some kind of tribalish tattoo on the back of my neck that curves around to my shoulder.. it was like the strangest dream i've had in awhile... From the little that I know of dream symbolism, the house is the self, being in someone else's home wanting someone else's book is symbolic of you wanting their knowledge, youd like to keep something of what they know and have for you to use but theyre putting the book away so you feel blocked from gaining that insight. Maybe its a person who you feel could help you but theyre not giving in. There's frustration there. Uncertain about the tattoo; that's likely a separate dream.What do they mean to you

i know right, i don't ever scroll down past the half part of the page but it seems like i will be in this forum a lot more.. i agree with you about the first part of the dream but i'm not sure about my tattoo dream.. it is really odd that i would dream about that, i mean i plan on getting a tattoo but it's not a back tattoo or anything along those lines but it was just weird that my dream would switch from one situation to another like that so fast, sometimes it can be a little crazy, especially lucid dreaming. those are the worst, especially when you wanna wake up and can'tIP: Logged |

Hi Deflower;I typed you a long response, and then my computer decided to shut itself down for updates. I hate that. So, I'll recap. The tribal tattoo, seems to signify the longing to be "part of a tribe" whether it be in a spiritual community, or not. But, it seems like it is because of the astro part of the dream.
The tattoo is coming around you like an embrace, as you are being embraced, and welcomed into the tribe. When you go to the thrift store, you are refused the womans books. Thrift stores are for secondhand goods. So, maybe this suggests not to take any second hand astro ideologies as your own, (I dont know if you've gotten any,just a thought) but, perhaps it is suggesting for you to find your own truth. The dream means that you still need to be initiated before you are able to practice or understand astrology. THats why the astrology book was taken from you and a tatoo instead. In other words, its not your time to really understand astrology.IP: Logged |
