Dear all

Hope you are all well.

Been having lots of anxiety dreams recently but last night's dream was particualrly strong.

I was in an exotic location, like carribean. I decided to hire a jet ski and head out to sea (despite my real life fear of deep sea). The sea was a little choppy but I could handle it and then I arrived on the desert island where I became stranded as my jet ski ran out of petrol. I was fearful as the sea looked scary and unforgiving.Other people also joined me on the island we had to wait to be rescued.

Then I was on another jet ski and was back on dry land but the scene switched to african jungle swamp land. Where I was treading on this brown moss and I was scared of what was underneath, I reached a path and then i was in this house with an african headteacher type of person asking me when I would start school. There were mosquitos flying around, on my skin and in my drink. Then the dream ended.

Woke up feeling uncomfortable.

I know water is emotions and there seemed to be water of different types in this dream.

Hello SS;

Yes, right on with water being emotions.

Any kind of agitation in the water is thought to represent turbulance in your emotions.
*The sea was choppy but I could handle it* is what you said, so, I'm thinking yes, you are anxious at the moment, emotionally, but nothing you can't handle.
It seems more like a tired feeling, what with you running out of gas on your jet ski.

Perhaps you are giving more than receiving in some kind of relationship at the moment?

In your dream, even when on dry land, you are still in a "swamp" (murky emotion) and fearful of what lies beneath.

Bugs in dreams are small details, or irritants in our lives. It's like something is literallly "bugging" you.
I think your teacher is the most profound part of your dream because, he is there to ask you, "When, when will you begin learning??" He may be a version of your higher self, asking yourself that question.

I feel that there are lessons for you to "wade" through at the moment, nothing huge, but it feels like..

getting enough rest, trying to not sweat the small stuff, trusting your emotions, not looking for others to save you, but, trusting that you can heal yourself.

After all, water IS cleansing, purification, and in some cases, a birth/rebirth type of energy coming in for you.

Dear GW

Thanks again for a very insightful reading! Always happy to hear from you. I think you have pinpointed the major themes.

"getting enough rest, trying to not sweat the small stuff, trusting your emotions, not looking for others to save you, but, trusting that you can heal yourself."

This point was exactly what the universe has been telling me to do in the past month and this weekend I listened to it and looked after myself, decided to laugh more and enjoy life. The major element which is "bugging" or unsettling me is the relationship in my life. We have had to be apart for las three months while he applied to study and had to get a scholarship. It has been a tense time waiting for news. We have had good news! he is arriving very soon but I have been anxious as to how it will be etc etc. I also felt that I have been "giving" a lot to him....supporting a partner through difficult times is also hard for me too.

But I am being positive, calmer and looking forward. I haven't had any anxiety dreams the past few nights so I guess thats good.It will be a new beginning soon.

All the best

Hey all

I had the most awful dream concerning two pet snakes I had in my house. They were in my living room in a box , then they escaped and then they started eating each other, either by the mouth, engulfing the whole body or by biting. I was trying to stop them doing this. I was standing over, watching them kill each other.

This week has been tough so I can unbderstand the feelings of powerlessness, something has been destoyed (killed).
