I was using the elevator of a very tall building with two other girls when we found ourselves on the 9th floor. The elevator led straight into a derelict, creepy apartment where I found a hidden room. It looked like an abandoned lab, with locked counters and drawers and once-white cabinets that were now disgustingly dirty. There were also several evil ghosts, that leered at us from the shadows. The most evil, who I knew was the scientist that owned the lab, wasn't there. The girls and I left the building and went to a bakery where we tried to flirt with the cashier to get free stuff. The flirting was carrying on nicely when one of the evil ghosts showed up and started following us. Scared, I started mumbling prayers and told myself that they can't come near me now. We went again to the 9th floor apartment and this time found a thick, tome-like book in one of the drawers of the lab. I became even more scared when I found satanic markings on the front, and put it away. Went to my maternal grandparents' house, they didn't follow me there. And then my parents called a priest to get rid of the ghosts, so I had to come back (again). He managed to lock them all, including the evil scientist, in cupboards and I thought he would burn the place to get rid of them but opened them back up again! My parents thought everything was okay and I wouldn't be stalked by the ghosts anymore, so we went to my paternal grandparents. There, my grandfather collapsed on the lawn ( ) and I saw a female ghost smiling evilly from the driveway. I started saying my prayers again and glared at her, daring her to come closer... and then, to my relief, I woke up.Do nightmares count in dream interpretations? ------------------ Echoes fade and memories die: Autumn frosts have slain July Still she haunts me, phantomwise, Alice moving under skies Never seen by waking eyes - Lewis Carrol, Alice in Wonderland IP: Logged |

thats very creepy, but i do remember having a ghost dream when i was a child and hadnt had a nightmare like it since. it was about me and a friend going to a haunted house at the end of the street, we explored the whole house and when we got back to the living room we found a closet that wasnt there before. we entered it and the closet door slammed closed on its own and when we managed to open it up again the walls, floor, and ceiling were covered in blood and bones. we were terrified but towards the end of the dream we had the idea to go back into the closet and hopefully everything will go back to normal, and it did. we left never to return again. since then i have written ghost stories based on it, made artwork baded on it, and submitted a copy of the story to a local magazine that runs stories of all kinds. i happened to get into the magazine, but thats irrelevant right now. and as i'v said, i havent had a scary nightmare since that dream. sure, i'v had nightmares, but none that really scared me.IP: Logged |

Hmm, I don't know if this is just the result of years of watching horror movies or if it actually has symbolism. If it was because of the movies, shouldn't I have nightmares more often?------------------ Echoes fade and memories die: Autumn frosts have slain July Still she haunts me, phantomwise, Alice moving under skies Never seen by waking eyes - Lewis Carrol, Alice in Wonderland IP: Logged |

if it were the result of too many scary movies then i'd have a nightmare every single night because scary is about the only genre i watch, lol. i think that my dream could have reflected my fear of loosing a close relative, some years later i had lost my father. it would make sense since my parents has split up sometime before i had that dream and i didnt get to see him a whole lot------------------ We have eyes yet we do not see IP: Logged |

The title of your topic made me laugh, it was so cute. Unfortuantely, I can't interpret dreams, so that's all I came to say. IP: Logged |

Your dream is basically the fear of death and your dissatisfaction with religious ideas of overcoming death. The hidden room on the 9th floor represents the idea that death is a place you go. The ghosts reinforce the idea that there are those who choose to accept the finality of death.(they represent your worst fears of what death is) The priest can only contain the ghosts(fears) but cannot make them not exist. Escapism, pretending that death does not exist by going to the bakery and flirting represents the idea that religion(the bread of life) is just a way of kissing up to someone to get what you want which doesn't work because the ghost(fear) follows you there. And the involvement of your parents and grandparents is the basis of why you fear death. The final message of the dream is that you must wake up and face your fear.IP: Logged |
