I keep on having dreams about this guy night after night. We have met about only 3 times, and each time he was standoffish and reserved and I never paid him much attention. These dreams are not recurring dreams because they are different every time.

In the dreams we are always just hanging out, and he would always be smiling, something in real life that I have not seen him do. We are walking and talking and just feeling good. There is a lot of love in the air, but it is not sexual.

I am trying to figure out why I am dreaming about him, in particular. Maybe it is because he has been on tv a lot, lately. I can't be sure. Also, our circles (socially) have overlapped since I knew him from different people, as in, I always find myself hanging out with his close friends. It is odd. Always.

Another odd thing, the last time I saw him, we didn't talk because I made it a point to not greet him, and he was sitting a seat away from me at a comedy show. When we were leaving te comedy show, we made eye contact and that was it. Yes, odd seeing as we have met a few times, but yeah...

Now, after I meet his other close friend, I start having dreams about this person. I thought I never liked him much, but here I am having dreams about him 3 days in a row, dreams that are nice and sweet.

Anyway, has this ever happened to you and what came of it? What do you suppose is the meaning of this? Let me know.

Thank you for the response. You are quite perceptive, or maybe it was obvious?

The thing is this:

The first time I met him, he was a guest at my place and he was quiet and aloof. I said hello to him, seeing as he was uncomfortable, but he just retreated further into his shell. This was back in the day when I was sharing a place with two of my friends and he was their friend. Soon after that, he left. I was a little offended, but I understood how he felt if he was uncomfortable because I would do the same.

The second time I met him, I was introduced to him by another well known person. He seemed to acknowledge me, but it seems like he made it a point to be snobbish. As if he did it on purpose, and then out of nowhere he said, after I complimented him on a wonderful set (he is a comedian) he said, "I have a girlfriend." Immediately I wondered, WTF?

The third time we met, I decided to be stand offish and ignored him.

So, while meditating, I asked my higher self what was going on here, and my Higher self told me to be honest and to over power the ego in order to get the answer I seek. This is what I got:

I DO find him attractive and would like to be friends, BUT my ego was bruised by him.

^ which is why you bring him into your dreams. It's safe there, and you can control what happens. No bruising of egos, just nice and easy, lovely, non-threatening things going on there.

It's too soon, and probably NEVER again, because since the Mr Aries thing, I would rather have the guy do the talking.

Yeah, I am done with that. Besides, it needs to happen organically and for me to communicate with him now would be preplanned because I would ask the mutual friends for his number and well... it is just not natural. Also, I don't even know his relationship status, and from my dim memory, I think he has a girlfriend.

He is cute. That's all.

I just wanted to know why I was dreaming of him so much, but if it is something as you say it is, I am cool with that.

There is something going on here, he is a part of your circle, so maybe it ties to a past life?

He feels strange. I am weary of him. I don't know where this fits between familiar or new. I guess, if I had to choose, I would say new because I am somewhat repelled away from him even though there is this thing drawing me to him.

I too get a sense that it is Karmic. The repelling factor is a sure give away.

The weary feeling, tells me that one of you hurt the other. It could have been you hurting him, or he hurt you. I'm going to go with you hurt him and because karma works the way it does and our soul knows the law of karma, you may be weary of being hurt this time.

Yes, karma. I wonder if it is actually going to play out in this incarnation, or whether we are just going to skirt around each other and never get any of this sorted. Maybe I am meant to deal with it on my own somehow. I don't know. This whole thing is odd. But, the good news is that I haven't dreamt of him after the last three dreams. Maybe it's over now.

Oh, and if he is also dreaming of me, he knows that I am dreaming of him because I mentioned it on twitter, making sure that he knows.

He must have a really strong presence to get all of you dreaming about him.
He's definetly around for a reason.

He was standing in a doorway above me, standing with his hands in his pockets and looking down at me with interest and curiosity - with his head slightly tipped to the side. He would interject to the questions directed at me, and I would do the same to his questions... for clarity.
