Last night I was dreaming I was playing the drums on a freeway (juxtaposed) and I was playing it really good. I mean better than in waking life. Ringo came to mind too. My paradiddles were great and it was like my hand was catching up with my brain. I remember playing the blues too. When I woke up I wanted to play the blues on the drums.

I can't see how I'm moving forward creatively because I'm currently taking science and math courses on route to go to medical school? Could that be creative direction too? Hmm. You got me wondering now. But I have stated that if med school doesn't work out (have to get accepted you know) then I'd possibly pursue playing the drums on the side aside from working full time. Like playing in a band. Does shed anymore light you can see now?

People that learn music actually do BETTER in their science and math courses. The two are joined.

At any rate, just because you are in medical school doesn't mean you cannot be a band, does it? If drumming is important to you, I'de say keep up with it.
