They are soo wonderful. Talk about a great trip
They are so much fun. The next day ,you feel so energized and peaceful ,at the same time.

I had a few dark ones and it was sort of fun and one was bittersweet. Have you tried doing it to solve a solution in waking life? Since you have control over your dreams you might as well put it to use for your waking life or you can enjoy them, whichever you like

I dont think OBEs happen in dreams...or rather i dont know what it is to dream of an OBE
I read somewhere if it happens when we are fully awake and into our daily activities then thats the end ie it means death is approaching!

Just saw your answers. Have not had another one,yet.
Maybe,tonight.
A LOT is intention. Just by writing it down,you set intention in to motion.

I have tried to get to certain destinations and to visit certain people.
I have not been successful.
One can master OBE's according to my books.It is a skill like any other skill.
Practice is the main requirement.

I would love to be able to visit people lol

I had a friend astral project to my house before and the lights kept flickering when he was there. Pretty cool

I also had one out of body experience in 5th grade, ala 1995. I had a friend who had one as a kid as well. I don't think it forebodes death, but maybe it can?

My step dad can obe pretty much at will but he has kaali conj sun with a 30 min orb in gemini. Neptune trines his sun and jupiter/pluto sextile that too. Pallas/poseidon/mars opp moon in virgo too.

Yep, I agree with Ami, it's a learned skill.

Once, I had a gf show up at my house..
She had just had a bad fight with her SO.
She decided to stay the night with me.
But, all night she was worried, thinking that he was cheating, that there was a girl at their apartment.
She wanted to drive over there, and I talked her out of it.

That night, when I went to bed, I simply asked to be shown what Jeff was doing.

I found myself in his living room, standing over him.
I could see him lying on the couch.
I saw what he was wearing, although the colors were much more vibrant than real life.

The next morning I told my very skeptical friend what happened.
All the details.

When she went home, she found him, just the way I described, down to the green shirt, which she insisted he didn't own.

Had a WONDERFUL OBE last night.I was flying really high and over beautiful large bodies of water.
I jumped out of skyscrapers, fearlessly
I was interacting with people but no one I knew.
I tried to visit someone I knew but could not get there.
I have,yet,to visit a person I know lol

I used to have OBEs and they suddenly stopped!! A few years ago... I have had a couple of vivid dreams but never as intense as my old OBEs used to be...

I miss them!! Yes I can agree... It's a wonderful experience!

They happened naturally and I cannot control them. I've started to think that maybe they have something to do with the orientation your bed is...

At my parents my head was heading north and when I was living in the UK almost kind of heading north!! Now I'm most like heading south... I read in Monroe's books that vibration was stronger when he was lying heading north... Hmmmmm, I may try sleeping with my head at the foot of the bed...

After reading a bit on the subjet, I also have to agree... Controlling OBEs is a skill that can be trained...

They are great books--easy and down to earth.

* Journeys out of the Body
* Far Journeys
* The Ultimate Journey

Ra recommended them to me a few years ago when I posted here what I didn't know it was an OBE... They are GREAT.

Robert Monroe founded the Monroe Institute. Many people trained in their premises in Virginia write about OBEs...

Have you ever heard of Hemisync?? Robert Monroe developed this technology when studying OBEs. It induces expanded states of consciousness. One of their programmes train you for out of body travelling (but there are many others)...

Robert Bruce's book Mastering Astral Projection has really good reviews from people trying to learn it. I bought it for my brother and looked through it and was pretty impressed. He has another book called Astral Dynamics that compliments that one in undertanding the astral world. He also recommends Journeys out of the Body and other books that describe such experiences for having them. I have the intention of having one tonight.
Actually,the easiest way to have them is to wake up in the middle of the night,after a few hours of sleep.
Stay up.Wake yourself up,totally,with some activity.
When you do go back,your body will be so tired that it will be hard to fight the OBE.
You will be in the best possible position to "let go"

You might be trying to hard, or you could wait until a promising astrological configuration takes place. When pallas was conj my sun I had great vivid past life dreams for a couple days. I had greater success too with psychic endeavors when it was trine my moon.

I recently had an obe and went to an all pink planet. there were some really hot looking specimens. I dont know how to describe them but they were masculine.
