Hi all

Haven't been on this forum for a bit...but had a dream last night that I can remember.

In my life, I have re-connected with my ex boyfriend after a break of a year. It is a new beginning, a more honest friendship at the moment and we discussed all the mistakes that were made in the past.

The dream last night, I was on a bus with him, cuddling and hugging. I was on my way to the airport and he suddenly got on one knee and gave me a ring ( it was purple amethyst with sparkling diamonds on a silver band). It was a commitment ring I think, i was shocked in the dream, thinking he was going to propose.

I missed my flight for some reason cause the journey took ages and so we ended up coming back home.

I am not wishing to complicate my life by thinking too much but the ring and the dream was memorable when I woke up this morning.

hope you all have a good weekend.

I'm not the best dream analyzer here I'm sure, but the symbolism of the dream sounds very promising. There is a lot that your boyfriend is offering you, but perhaps there may be something missing depending on what the plane represented.. if you were looking for change or something.

I'm posting these with some trepidation knowing that you are a sag.

-What he's offering you-

To receive diamond jewelry in your dream, signifies love, commitment and dedication.

Silver
To see silver in your dream, symbolizes the moon, intuition and the feminine aspects of yourself. It signifies tranquility and understated confidence. Silver represents justice and purity. It is symbolic of some protective energy

Amethyst
To see an amethyst in your dream, signifies peace of mind and satisfaction in your professional and personal life. You are content with where you are in your life. It does not take much to make you happy.

To dream that you lose an amethyst, signifies heartbreaks and disappointments in love.

Ring
To see or receive a ring in your dream, symbolizes emotional wholeness, continuity, commitments and honor. If the ring is on your finger, then it signifies your commitment to a relationship or to a new endeavor. You are loyal to your ideals, responsibilities, or beliefs.

-What else-

To dream that you are riding a bus, implies that you are going along with the crowd. You are lacking originality and control over where your life is taking.

Airport
To see a busy airport in your dream, signifies the desire for freedom, high ideals, ambition, and hopes. It is an indication that you are approaching a new departure in your life. Some new idea is taking off or is ready to take off. You may be experiencing a new relationship, new career path or new adventure.

To dream of a deserted airport, indicates that your plans or goals will be changed or delayed. You are having to put some aspect of your life on hold.

Airplanes
To see an airplane in your dream, indicates that you will overcome your obstacles and rise to a new level of prominence and status. You may experience a higher consciousness, new-found freedom and greater awareness. Perhaps you need to gain a better perspective or wider view on something. If the airplane is taking off, then it suggests that an idea or plan is about to "take off" and be put into action. It may also represent you need to get away and escape from your daily life.

Home
To see your home in your dream, signifies security, basic needs, and values. You may be feeling at "home" or settled at your new job or environment.Alternatively, the dream represents your basic needs and priorities.

In particular, to see your childhood home, your hometown, or a home that you previously lived in, indicates your own desires for building a family and your family ideologies. It also reflects aspects of yourself that were prominent or developed during the time you lived in that home. You may experience some unfinished feelings that are being triggered by some waking situation. Alternatively, the dream may represent your outdated thinking.

To dream that you cannot find your way home, indicates that you have lost faith and belief in yourself. It may also signify a major transition in your life.

---------------------

On a more personal note, when I was texting my ex yesterday I got a vision of a biplane taking off when he said he was going somewhere. The next day he told me he took my advice to get a girlfriend, and met this amazing girl and stayed up till midnight talking and that he had so much in common etc etc (he has amazing jupiter transits atm). I tend to think planes can also mean a journey, and maybe not better (I'm hoping his is for better). I get a lot of plane dreams when I'm going through a lot of changes, but I always have a problem reaching my destination.

You might try to ask about getting a dream in the next few days to show you what the plane means or what that choice represents.

That was a pretty good interpretation.

Hi Mochai
I agree with Randall, the ring and bus stood out to me the next morning as well as the bus we were travelling on.The ring was also on ,y wedding band finger. It's interesting a few months back i had dreamt I was on a bus and my ex was sitting a few seats in front to my right. Someone then said that we would probably re-connet at some point in the future. So it seemed to happen!

Thanks for you help with the dream, much appreciated.

Dear Mochai

I was thinking more about the significance of areoplanes in dreams and life. I was asked at work to go to a country for work, and it was a country, as a female alone, I would not feel comfortable with. I had to fight my case to my boss and got punished for saying no. So planes for me last week were a tense issue...They are also about journeys, and changes.

I do wonder sometimes about how influenced the unconscious is by events taking place in everyday life.

Hello all....

Full moon this weekend. Haven't remembered my dreams last few nights as been mega stressed with work so not relaxed enough.

The ex of my previous dream is in Japan right now and although we haven't been in touch (but for one time where he wrote he wished I was with him in there and wanted me to come and be there). I have had mega strong feelings about him (not love sense...) but more that he is thinking of me. Can someones thoughts really effect you or is this wishful thinking? I dreamt earlier in the week that he and I were cuddling together, that was it, simple really.

It is his birthday on 16 April and it marks the anniversary of when we broke up (gosh so much has moved, shifted, and re-defined itself during that time). I don't miss him in the deep sense of the word ( a year ago my heart felt torn in two and I couldn't breathe...). This time I just hope he is having a fun time on his adventure and will wish him a happy birthday.

I'm sorry if this is a self indulgent message (leo moon talking!) but I am feeling spiritual nowadays or somehow more "open".

Totally. They've done studies on thinking of someone and them actually calling at the same time. There is a connection.

I haven't read it yet, but I hear the book The Field is good for discussing research phenomena related to the above.

You have to be careful though, it could be wishful thinking too. I had a friend whose neptune trined my moon and I always thought of him right before he called.

Dear Mochai

I agree, perhaps I am missing him more than I would like to admit. :-)

Mochai-

I came back to this post in light of what happened with my ex. Well, we did travel by bus. He did give me something ( a japanese love story novel with a dedication from him to me on the front page). Not quite a ring but the level of shock I had at receiving the gift was the same as in the dream. He had ordered the book especially to give me. It did not feel a final goodbye, more a temporary parting.
