Dear allWoke up from the strangest dream this morning. I dreamt that i had two cats (one was my boy cat who died 2 years ago) and the other was a non-descript cat. IN the dream, I was was woken by a noise but did not get up and in the morning I found that my ginger boy cat (my favourite) had been kidnapped and replaced with a black and white cat. I was very anxous to find "my" cat and went on a search for it. That's all I remember but there was intrusion, guilt that I did not wake up in time to save my cat, and anxiety that they had replaced him! What can this all mean? anxiety for sure... Hi Randall...I wasn't interested in the new cat at all, barely noticed it. Only that it was black and white. Sparkling IP: Logged |

Definitely a weird dream...I think the cat actually represents a feminine side of you that you feel may have been replaced and you don't like this black and white version of it. You like the more colorful one better. Your guilt over this is that you know this change was occurring and did nothing to stop it. I'll look up some meanings...but this is what I felt reading this. Do you feel confined or constrained by someone or something?------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Rebecca Clark IP: Logged |

Dear bothI think there is something about the bond between me and the ginger cat, he represents perhaps my childhood as he was my baby boy cat. Constrain: YES, at work, I am in a new position and my manager has not supported me or developed me as he is should in the last few months and in the past two weeks I have had to assert myself and my boundaries (they asked me to do a recruitment trip alone to a country where they do not treat a woman very well if alone). So I said no and was punished for it. Equally, I worked hard for this promotion and it is not the dream job that I thought it would be. Sparkling IP: Logged |

hehe...I see the correlation...I looked up some interps on the internet but for some reason none of them seemed to fit. I'm glad that I wasn't completely off. This dream represents your job in real life. You are upset about having to deal with punishment for having to stand up for yourself as a female. Cats also represent independence and in some way being alone because they can deal without company. The fact that you dream of two cats also correlates to your wanting to do this job with another person. The black and white is representative of the country probably having 'black and white views' on many things including women/role of women. I think you feel you somehow could have prevented this but it happened so that it was done right underneath your nose; you being asleep. I'm sorry I don't know how to advise you further. Good luck with your job. IP: Logged |

Maybe the first cat was your love for your job, and the second one is what you are left with now (apathy)?------------------ "Never mentally imagine for another that which you would not want to experience for yourself, since the mental image you send out inevitably comes back to you." Dear RandallQuite literally it could be! They kidnapped and have taken control of the joy I had for my job. Interesting dream because actually I have control to some extent, I will do my job to the best of my ability. Sparkling IP: Logged |

Randall and LittleCloud (and others)Had another dream last night featuring the same ginger cat. I can't remember all the dream but it had a darkness about it. This time my cat was clinging on to me with his claws and literally tearing into the palms of my hands, deep scratches and pain. It felt like a cruisifiction. Blood and pain is all I remember when I woke up. It's a shame I can't remember the rest.... Sparkling IP: Logged |

It may still be related to work. Why is this cat so special to you? What does he represent?IP: Logged |

I loved this cat, he was MY baby cat. It felt like a crusifiction, blood pouring down and pain in darkness. I was not clinging on, more the cat was to me.Something is changing or being stripped. Sparkling IP: Logged |

Something close to you is being torn away...I'm not sure if it's work related. Or even femininity like I mentioned before. What ever it is, it's going to hurt alot... I kind of feel this one is prophetic. IP: Logged |
