If you are able to control your dreams, then would it really mean anything in the waking world if you are just making them how you want them? Like, could there be a deeper meaning? or does it just pertain to dreams you do not feel the need to step in and control?I only change my nightmares. IP: Logged |

I get what you are saying,TXGirl. Yes,if you can control your dreams, you can deal with real life issues better. Dreams are a window in to the subconsious. ------------------ Jesus never put his trust in man cuz he knew what was in man. He who controls his Spirit is greater than he who controls a city Proverbs IP: Logged |

There was a stanford phd student who's work was devoted to those kind of questions. I think he got hired on as faculty. My lucid dreams have continued to be symbolic, thus answering my questions, and there are stories of people looking into their tumors in lucid dreaming and having the tumor totally disappear..People who practice telekinesis report their telekinesis improving exponentially when practicing telekinesis in their dreams, and many atheletes have noticed an increase in athletic ability when practicing during dreams. Also, in one instance, there was a lucid dreamer who lucid dreamed to gain closure on a romantic situation that had ended, and she asked the dream characters if the real people would know any of this took place, and the dream person answered that they would, in their own way (implied subconcsious awareness). http://www.amazon.com/Exploring-World-Dreaming-Stephen-La berge/dp/034537410X/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1301164004&sr=8-2 IP: Logged |

okay now I get your question, so yes its true. The first I heard of that was when my ex-boss told me he would solve problems in his dreams. I wish I had that ability, I just haven't been in the frame of mind to do OBEs/lucid dreams again since Im going through a saturn return and been so busy with things on my mind. But yes the mind is so powerful you can do anything you set your mind to. This site may interest you http://www.lucidity.com/ IP: Logged |
