I've been having dreams I was pregnant since last November. In some I was just doing day to day activities, in others I was unaware I was pregnant until I went into labor, other times I'd go into labor and then the dream was over. This morning, I dreamt that I had been eating at my favorite restaurant (all the way up in my hometown New England State....I live down South at the moment) and then I gave birth to twins. I appeared to have been aware I was pregnant with twins the whole time, my family was even supportive even though their also appeared to be no father in the picture. They were healthy, and my OB instructor from SCHOOL was helping me to breastfeed them too. I was even lactacting after the fact. Yeah, yikes. I was happy too and showing them off. By the end of the dream, I only had one baby though...as if the other one was an illusion. And I was totally okay with that. Anyways, yes...I do work on a Maternal-Child floor at the hospital . But I've gone almost 2 years working there without these dreams and the last thing I want right now is to be a mom (a single one at that). The last time I can think of when I had a series of these type of dreams was when I was in my last year of highschool and anticipating graduating and getting into the college of my choice. (By way of wishful thinking) I'm wondering if there's a correlation...LOL. I'm in Nursing School and set to graduate at the end of July if all goes well. haha One more question: I've had animus dreams before, where I woke up before I could 'complete' them. By completion, I mean getting something done before the dream ended (usually in relation to the guy)...if that makes sense. Well, about 2 weeks ago I did just that: I finished an animus dream to my satisfaction. Any thoughts on that?

Wow.------------------ "All deaths are suicides, do you realize that? Every single one. The only distinction is that, with some people, suicide is a subconscious choice, and with others it's a conscious choice. Otherwise, those who commit suicide and those who succumb to accident, illness or "old age," die for exactly the same reason: belief in the inevitability of death." Linda Goodman IP: Logged |
